`16.Jul.2008` Thorsten Mampel (ANF)	Marke Eigenbau: Efika-Laptop Auf der Homepage des Amiga-Clubs Hamburg hat Thorsten Mampel die Entstehungsgeschichte seines selbstgebauten Efika-Laptops dokumentiert. Dieser kann an den Clubabenden sowie auf der nächsten LAN-Party auch "live" besichtigt werden. Zudem besteht die Möglichkeit, das Gehäuse für Nachbau-Interessierte erneut anfertigen zu lassen. `15.Jul.2008` AROS-Exec (Forum)	AmigaOS 4: NetSurf für Cygnix in Arbeit Wie Edgar Schwan unter dem Titellink mitteilt, lässt sich der Browser NetSurf gut für seine AmigaOS-4-X11-Umgebung Cygnix kompilieren (Screenshot). Ein Veröffentlichungstermin steht allerdings noch nicht fest. Gegenwärtig fehlt NetSurf zwar noch Javascript, dafür aber benötigt der Browser bloß 17 MB Speicher, um zu starten. `15.Jul.2008` Amiga.org (Webseite)	Open Video Toaster: Instant Bounties Um eine Umsetzung der 2004 als open source freigegebenen Amiga-Version des Videobearbeitungsprogramms Video Toaster von NewTek für AmigaOS 4, AROS und MorphOS zu fördern, wurden von DiscreetFX nun sogenannte Instant Bounties initiiert, bei denen der Entwickler das gespendete Geld bereits zu Beginn seiner Arbeit erhält. Den vorgenannten Betriebssystemen entsprechend existieren zur Zeit drei Bounties zu je 100 US-Dollar mit der gleichlautenden Aufgabe, den Character Generator des Video Toasters für das jeweilige System zu portieren. Spenden zum Aufstocken der Bounties können per PayPal erfolgen. What is an Instant Bounty? This is a bounty that is paid once a programmer has requested and been assigned a programming task for Open Video Toaster. This does take a little trust on our part since bounties are paid before coding even begins. Programmer past developments and applications will be taken into serious consideration and help gain them approval for OVT Instant Bounties. Programmers should review source code for the bounty in question before applying for consideration. Each development task for OVT will have set guidelines and coding time limits. The larger goal of this contest is to stimulate development of video editing and video production software for MorphOS, Amiga OS 4.0 & AROS. This also allows us to see which 3rd party developer base is most passionate and serious about bringing their favorite operating system of choice back into the mainstream. Neben der Vorstellung einiger Komponenten und Funktionen, dem Help Desk und einem Download-Bereich findet sich dort nun auch eine Auflistung aktueller und ehemaliger Team-Mitglieder sowie aller übrigen Beitragenden.
