`05.Jul.2003` Oliver Roberts (ANF)	Warp Datatypes V45.2 veröffentlicht (Update) After a long delay, the promised updates to all the Warp picture datatypes for 68k, WarpOS and MorphOS are finally here. To accompany the new release is the brand new WarpDT portal at http://www.warpdt.co.uk/ where you can keep up to date with the latest versions of the WarpDTs and download them all in one easy place. Summary of changes since previous versions: BMP/JPEG/PNG/TIFF: Minor optimizations and cleanups. BMP/JPEG/PNG/TIFF: Bumped version to v45 since a stable release has now been reached and to reflect the jump to shareware status BMP: Fixed problems with decoding bitfield images JPEG: Altered descriptor file to prevent it matching LhA or LZX archives containing JPEG files (or anything else that might contain a JFIF header, other than Photoshop files) PNG: PNG files not containing enough data are no longer treated as a fatal error. Now the part of the image that was successfully decoded is returned. PNG: Updated with libpng 1.2.5 PNG/TIFF: Updated with zlib 1.1.4 TIFF: Now correctly converts images using the YCbCr colourspace to RGB TIFF: Added support for JPEG decompression TIFF: Updated to libtiff 3.6.0-beta2, including a new version of the LogLuv decoder, and numerous other bugfixes Prefs: Various parts of code rewritten, in preparation for losing the current reliance on resource.library Prefs: Minor bugfixes Prefs: Correct Polish and Portuguese documentation now included. Update 06.07.2003: Errornous timeouts bugfix (Version 45.2) Unfortunately, due to last minute changes, I broke the timeout code slightly - doh! Die Vollversion kostet ab sofort 99 US-Dollar, Upgrades sind ab 40 US-Dollar erwerbbar. Diese Preise sind für Juli 2003 garantiert, sollen aber nach Möglichkeit auch weiterhin gehalten werden. New Low Pricing Tuesday, July 1st - Grasshopper LLC announces today new low pricing for PageStream on all platforms. "While the pricing is guaranteed only through July, it is hoped that it will be warmly embraced by the community and will be adopted then as our new permanent pricing", said owner Marna Holt today. "Our move from a brick and mortar business means lower costs and faster turn around times. We hope passing these savings on to our customers will not only increase the already tremendous value our customers get when buying PageStream, but hopefully increase the number of customers and reach those who could previously not afford PageStream." Near term plans include a revamped web site, instant messaging with our sales staff, and a monthly online public chat with Deron. `03.Jul.2003` Samba (Website)	Vernetzung: Samba Version 3.0.0 Beta 2 Das Samba-Team hat am 01.07.2003 Version 3.0.0 Beta 2 veröffentlicht. Was genau sich geändert hat, können Sie hier nachlesen. Samba ist eine Software, die z. B. die Vernetzung von PC und Amiga ermöglicht. Informationen zu Samba für Amiga gibt es unter amigasamba.org. `03.Jul.2003` Amigan Software (Website)	Spiel: Saga Version 1.27 Von Amigan Software ist Version 1.27 des Freeware-Spiels Saga erschienen. Bei dem Spiel handelt es sich um eine Konvertierung des 1981 bei TSR erschienenen Brett-Spiels Saga: Age of Heroes. Das Spiel ist für bis zu sechs Spieler konzipiert. Die Spieler können entweder von Menschen oder vom Amiga gesteuert werden. Es geht darum, gegnerische Monster zu besiegen, sagenhafte Schätze zu finden und große Königreiche dabei zu unterstützen, ruhmreich und heldenhaft zu sein. Das Spiel ist derzeit in Englisch und Deutsch verfügbar, benötigt mindestens AmigaOS 3.0+, AGA/RTG. Der Sourcecode ist im Archiv enthalten. Seit der letzten Version hat der Autor James R. `03.Jul.2003` Pixel Art (E-Mail)	StartMenü: Pixload Version 4.1c Von "Pixload" wurde die Version 4.1c veröffentlicht. Das Tool ermöglicht, ähnlich wie Amidock, den Start von Programmen und Skripts über ein Icon und benutzt hierzu MUI. Als neue Merkmale sind in dieser Version u. a. eine HTML-Erkennung bei lokalen Dateien und ein Kontext-Menü implementiert worden. Hierzu ist RxMUI 32.8 erforderlich.
