Hyperion/Cloanto litigation: judgment in the main lawsuit issued
Cloanto had sued Hyperion in 2017, initially to have a judge declare that the Italian company is the rightful owner of the "Amiga" mark and that Hyperion neither has the right to fight this trademark registration nor register similar marks like "AmigaOS" or "AmigaOne" itself. The lawsuit was later merged with another one inititated by Hyperion, which also added Amino, Itec and Amiga Inc. as additional parties to the litigation and expanded the scope of the laswuit to cover issues of breach of contract, trademark violations and alleged IP theft. more ... MorphOS: LUA-MUI - Using the scripting language for GUI and OS functions
Stefan 'Kronos' Kleinheinrich's LUA-MUI makes it possible under MorphOS to use the script language LUA (Wikipedia) also to make OS specific calls, i.e. concerning the graphical user interface, libraries and functions. Some examples are documented in the associated forum post of MorphZone.

Snake clone: AmiSnakes (beta)
"AmiSnakes" (video) is a Snake clone for one or two players that offers scrolling playfields, a story mode and two-player duels via split screen. The current beta version can be downloaded free of charge. In the final version, better graphics are to be used, and the "Game Over" screen and the credits at the end of the game are still missing. ApolloBoot is a preconfigured utility for easier installing and booting of several operating systems from different AmigaOS variants over AROS to Atari TOS and Mac OS on FPGA turbo boards with Apollo core.

AROS distribution: AROS One 2.0 (x86)
"AROS One", a distribution based on the AROS binary interface ABI v0, is now available in version 2.0 for x86 computers. It can be downloaded as DVD ISO file or as USB flash image at the title link, where you can also find video recordings.

ReAction GUI for XAD: Avalanche 2.1 for AmigaOS 3 and 4
Chris Young's Avalanche is a ReAction-based graphical user interface for the unarchiving system XAD, which also supports the xfdmaster.library and can search for viruses using the xvs.library. With the jump to version 2.1, the developer not only gives the tool a new look, but also introduces simple editing of LhA/Zip archives (Zip requires zip.library - only under AmigaOS 4). Disk magazine: Old Power-Brei issues downloadable at Amiga Future (German)
At the title link the issues 1-6 as well as 9-20 of the German-language floppy disk magazine Power-Brei are downloadable, the Amiga Future editors would be grateful for receiving the missing floppy disks as well.

Power-Brei magazine was first published in June 1990, founded by Stefan Kremer and Alexander Carbin, as third senior editor and publisher finally Sven Drieling joined the editorial board. In June 1999 a cooperation with amiga-news.de came about through him. Video: Background story of the game "Ring around the World"
"Ring around the World" is a point'n'click adventure game about a supposedly drowned man with memory loss, which is also one of three test games for the AMOS Layers System by the same author.
