Hallo zusammen,

ich möchte einem DOS-Script Parameter mittels Tooltypes übergeben. Das
Script soll mittels Icon und IconX gestartet werden. Funktioniert das
mit dem ".KEY" Befehl, oder gibt es eine andere Möglichkeit?

Geht nicht, keine Chance.

Es gab allerdings mal einen Ersatz für IconX, hieß glaube ich XIcon, damit konnte man sowas machen.

Sieht ja übel aus, werd mal XIcon im Aminet suchen. Hat jemand ne Idee ob es mit ARexx geht und wie ich da an die Tooltyes komme?

Mit ARexx geht's auch nicht

Vielleicht über den ARexx-Port der Workbench (AOS3.5 o. 3.9)?
Das Script müßte allerdings mindestens seinen eigenen Speicherort kennen, und welche Icon-Funktionen es genau gibt, habe ich jetzt auch nicht im Kopf.

Es dürfte nicht allzu schwer sein, ein Programm zu schreiben, welches ein Icon öffnet und die Tooltypes nach stdout schreibt. Vielleicht gibt es so etwas schon im Aminet.

Grundsätzlich geht es damit, nur unter MOS ist es nicht ganz stabil.
