Game: Amerikan Chajnik In Russia This game dedicated to all "Simpsons" cartoon fans. But now Homer Simpson adventures are in Russia. The word "chajnik" in title mean "dummy" (it's Russian slang). This is first (not last, I hope) big game project from Russia. Autor -- Vladimir Berezenko aka Q-Master. Original version of this game was developed by Vlad Scherbakov and Renat Farhulin (aka Mr. Gluk) for ZX-Spectrum (yea, this computer still popular here in Russia). There are English text strings in the game - you have to click on "AMERIKA" on the title screen to play in English instead of Russian. There also is an English text version of this game. To play this you have to click on "Amerika" on the title screen. (ps) [News message: 22. May. 2001, 16:36] [Comments: 0] [Send via e-mail] [Print version] [ASCII version] |

Eyetech: Price for AmigaOne not announced, yet Alan Redhouse of Eyetech has posted to the comments of ANN a comment about the mentioned price for the AmigaOne boards. He said that Eyetech did not announce prices for their own AmigaOne computer, yet. This is also applies to price declarations for vendors. The price independently mentioned by 'epic/amigastuff' he thinks to be for testing purposes to find out about market reactions. «1. no dealers have yet been announced 2. no pricing has yet been announced to any dealers 3. epic/amigastuff are just guessing to test the market reaction IMO. 4. none of this helps anybody.
