Relaunch of www.qdev.de
After nearly four years of online presence it has come to a great demand to renew my homepage completely. The new pages are all bilingual (German/English) and most of the content has been improved. Originally I wanted to finish all this earlier, but the successful finish of my first university degree (informatics) as well as the work for the Amidock for OS4 were (reasonable) more important. AmIDE goes Open-Source (GPL)
Not long ago the source codes of AmIDE which is an integrated developing environment for the Amiga have been published by Jens Langner under GPL (open-source) and thus is available to everybody under the title link.

Jens has published the source codes because he cannot develop further AmIDE and thus hopes to encourage a team of developers for the sourceforge project.

The source texts have been completely reworked for the GPL release and have been uploaded to the CVS of the sourceforge server in this way that they immediatly can be compiled with SAS/C.

Every interested developer who wants to directly take part in AmIDE is supposed to contact Jens Langner and will then get the writing access to the CVS sources. The old homepage will be updated later and an explicit developer mailing list will be also created then. (ps) (Translation: dr)

Christian Rosentreter (ANF)

On public demand: Download "Shanghai Dragon" AGA version
On public demand Christian Rosentreter has published the AGA version of "Shanghai Dragon".

Download: tksd.lha

Please note that this version is not being further developed anymore, and is really not comparable to the coming CGX version. The AGA version only shows the framework, the CGX version will offer better graphics and a much enhanced functional range.

Please also note that the AGA version cannot be redirected to gfx card screens properly, and also that there is no documentation available.

There is a screen shot at the ZENZER-2dNOW-Forum. Further details (about the future CGX version) can be gleaned from the interview with Christian Rosentreter in AMIGA ARENA. You can also find some information about the planned game on the Amiga Future page. However, the CGX version will not be released "in a week" - this was a little misunderstanding. A release in late autumn is more probable. (ps) (Translation: cb)
