Amiga Future 70 (January/February 2008): Previews online
Press release: The preview and excerpts of the Amiga Future 70 (January/February 2008) are online now. Of course you'll find a review of AmigaOS4 on ClassicPPC. Additionally, there is a related special showing the differences between AmigaOS 3.x and AmigaOS 4.0.

In this issue we have reviewed the new version of MindSpace and there is also a detailed review of the Amiga Forever 2008 in this edition as well. You can find a detailed description of contents and excerpts at our website.

The Amiga Future is available as an English and German print magazine directly from the editorial office and some Amiga dealers. The Amiga Future can be obtained as a single issue or subscription each with or without a cover CD.

As always you can find lot of PD software and some full versions on the cover CD. As this is the 10th anniversary edition and as a small extra we include as many full versions as the issue number itself. In short: This time you can find 70 full versions on the Amiga Future cover CD.

We ask all users having interest in the magazine to order as soon as possible. It would also be helpful if subscribers wanting to extend their subscription would do so as soon as possible. (cg) (Translation: cg)

ACube announces prices for MiniMig systems
As ACube Systems announces, the advertised MiniMig systems will be available starting from the middle of January for a price of 138 euros (plus taxes and shipping costs).

Since, originally, there was talk of "different configurations," the mentioned price should probably refer to the minimal configuration, but more precise information for this is still pending. (cg) (Translation: cad)

Back to the Roots: Fallback Server
Ralf Steines writes: Our main server, which runs www.back2roots.org and ftp.back2roots.org and also acts as a proxy frontend server for all hosted projects including winuae.net and chiptune.de, is down for a while.

To not lock your download needs we have set up a temporary access point where you can access most of our services and all hosted projects from our secondary server at the title link.

Please note that we have no fallback solution for the FTP server and the modradio server, these are plain too big for our secondary server's disks. This will hopefully change in future.

We try to keep the downtime as short as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience of temporarily having to deal with this slower server. (snx)
