AmigaGuide/HTML viewer: strangé 0.18
strangé is a MUI-based AmigaGuide/HTML viewer based on HTMLView.mcc. Changes in version 0.18:
  • Changes to options.c to load prefs faster
  • Changes to prefs,c to handle prefs faster
  • Added a "table detail pen", even if not used atm
  • Rewrite the code to use SDI_#? for easy porting, but rewrote some SDI_#? stuff, because they handle mos in a very bad way
  • With the help of Fulvio Peruggi, I finally found the bug that made local html pages not be load for many: it was some htmlview datatype fault. Now strangé should open any local html file easly
  • Again with the help of Fulvio, fixed a bug with some fancy Amigaguide docs LINK parsing
  • Fixed documents color handling
  • Added BACKDROP option
  • Added FANCY option for MorphOS version only, try it out :P
  • MorphOS version iconify is now done in app subclass: the main window is not closed, but hidden, so that loading and pics rendering continues even when iconified
  • Added AlwaysShowTabs prefs option: tab titles is present even if just one tab is present
  • Revisited local and online docs
  • Many other minor bug fixes and changes

strangé is available for MorphOS and AmigaOS 3, meanwhile, both versions offer the same range of functions again. (cg) (Translation: cad)

In addition to essential changes concerning used or supported third party software - for example SView5, which made rapid development with almost weekly updates in the past weeks and months - (improvements) as well as some detailed enhancements were carried out in MakeHTMLMap in version 5.100: thus, for example, created layouts can now be saved and loaded separately, and also the Quick-Index function now works a little more sensibly and positions the sought picture at the beginning of the visible browser area.
