`03.Mar.2014` Amiga.org (Webseite)	Workbench enhancement: BetterWB 3.4 Similar to AIAB, AmiKit or AmigaSYS, BetterWB is a collection of Workbench enhancements for AmigaOS 3.1, which are useful but rather simple and therefore require low hardware configuration. It is meant for e.g. purists and users of low end Amigas or Minimig users. BetterWB runs on any Amiga and is provided as disk images. It requires the original disks of Workbench 3.1 (may also work under 3.0, but was not tested) and about 10 MB harddrive memory. The main focus is on compatibility to programms like Excel and OpenOffice, which can also open Spreedy-spreadsheets. With version 0.3, Spreedy can perform arithmetic operations, has a formula editor, a redesigned user interface and the ability to enter special characters. Additionally, AROS Vision 2.4 will be the basis for the next version of the linux-hosted distribution Aminux provided by Pascal Papara and will be integrated into his new AppStore.
