AROS-Distribution: Aros Vision PAL and Aros Vision RTG 3.1
Olaf Schönweiß' has released new versions of his AROS/68k distribution "Aros Vision". The RTG version 3.1 (mainly meant for emulators) provides updated system files and you can choose between different MUI-implementations (Zune, MUI 3.8 and MUI 4 for AmigaOS) and Workbench replacements (Wanderer, Scalos, Magellan) (screenshot).

The new PAL-version is meant for slower hardware and provides less software. Because the author cannot test it on real Amigas, any feedback is welcome. (snx) (Translation: dr)

Compiler: Free Pascal 3.1.1 and alpha version of Lazarus for AmigaOS 3
Marcus 'ALB42' Sackrow has ported the Pascal compiler Freepascal 3.1.1 as well as the Pascal-based Lazarus Component Library (LCL) to AmigaOS. Using this library it is possible to develop cross-platform applications. The port for Amiga is still an alpha version but many examples can already be built wothout any problems.

Some games and tools (BinShifter, ColorIt, FPCMines and PasteQuick) which were created with LCL, Sackrow already has compiled for AmigaOS. (cg) (Translation: dr)
