Reverse Engineering: Carmageddon for 68k-Amigas A reverse engineering project brings the PC classic Carmageddon to the Classic Amiga. Thanks to Arcziii, who has already presented reverse engineerings of Red Alert and Wipeout, the martial racing game has been made executable on classic Amiga hardware. The adaptation is based on the original engine, has been engineered for the 68k architecture and requires the original Carmageddon game data, which can be obtained from the original game disc or from the gaming platform GOG (Good Old Games). Carmageddon has been developed by Stainless Games and published by Interplay in 1997. The high-octane, controversial driving game, known for its uncompromising action and destruction, originally appeared for MS-DOS, Windows and Macintosh, and was later released for other platforms.
