`05.Apr.2025`	Chat software: AmigaGPT 2.4.0 Cameron Armstrong has developed a chat program called AmigaGPT, which is based on ChatGPT. The software supports the latest OpenAI models including the o1 family and runs on AmigaOS 3.1 and above (including 4.1) and on MorphOS. The source code of the tool can be downloaded separately. The new version 2.4.0 has now been released with the following changes: ARexx port added to allow issuing AmigaGPT commands from another app or from a script Fixed bug where the About AmigaGPT window wouldn't display all the text correctly Latest OpenAI chat models added Latest OpenAI text to speech models added Latest OpenAI text to speech voices added Can now give instructions to the OpenAI voice to change how it sounds (only works for the gpt-4o-mini-tts model) Chat now uses the new Responses endpoint instead of the Chat Completions one to allow for future expansion Download: AmigaGPT.lha (2 MB) (dr) [News message: 05. `04.Apr.2025`	Pre-order: New synth album ‘Home Arcade’ with Amiga track 'LukHash' describes his music as a "fusion of digital 8-bit chaos and 80s-inspired synthesiser music, combined with modern sounds and cyberpunk aesthetics." His new album "Home Arcade" can now be pre-ordered and customers will also receive 'retro versions' of three tracks from the album: two covers in the form of SID tunes, one as a classic Amiga MOD, all three songs can be played on the original hardware. `04.Apr.2025`	Demoparty: Revision 2025 is still looking for volunteers The demo party ‘Revision’ will traditionally take place on the Easter weekend at the ‘E-Werk’ in Saarbrücken. However, the organisers are still looking for volunteers: Press release: Revision is the biggest pure demoscene event in the world - and roundabout 70 volunteers make it possible. Come join us to have the best Easter weekend for you, us, and the demoscene! We are looking for people with the English skill and attitude that make them great working in a multi-national team, and who are as excited as we are to make this party great for everyone. You'll need to be in the E Werk from super-latest Friday morning before Revision to the Monday, to help us build up and tear everything down as far as you can. Being on time and reliable is very important to everyone in your team, so we're able to share the workload fairly.
