`15.Feb.2002` Ascaron	Games developer Ascaron: Successful recovery plan after insolvency In September 2001 the games developer Ascaron from Gütersloh, Germany, was forced to file application for insolvency (we reported). A successful recovery plan Ascaron made it possible to save 80 jobs and they can restart as Ascaron Entertainment GmbH. After the creditor congregation last week in unison agreed to accept the recovery plan of the insolvent old company the newly founded Ascaron Entertainment GmbH can touch-and-go. It has taken over all the rights including the Ascaron brand and also is employer of the present staffers. In the early 90th Ascaron has developed also and just for the Amiga many popular games like ´Hanse - Die Expedition´, ´Anstoß´, ´Anstoß World Cup´, and ´Der Patrizier´, and later relocated developments to the PC.
