Battilana of Cloanto: Presentation of Amiga Forever 2005 Closing Notes Personal Presentations All the speakers of the scheduled sessions will be available throughout the day for personal presentations. This especially applies to the case where the language of the session was not what you hoped for, in which case we are at your disposal to repeat, translate and assist as desired. Additional presentations will be held at the various computing desks located at the venue. Several demo composers will present their creations (list to be published) Enrico Vidale and his Virtual Works staff will show AmigaOne and Pegasos hardware running various operating systems Joachim Thomas of Light Elements Software will present the latest AmigaAnywhere cross-platform software on various PDAs Federico will present his project for a GameCube emulator written in Objective C for Mac OS X International Audience As in previous years, visitors and attendees have pre-registered from several neighboring and more distant countries, including Austria, Slovenia, Germany, Denmark, Finland and the UK. `25.Jun.2005` Thorsten Mampel, 1.Vorsitzender ACH (ANF)	Lan party of the ACH The public LAN party of the ACH in Hamburg-Berne is going. Right now, there are an estimated 15 persons there. All systems are represented. OS4 with its latest update v3 fills with enthusiasm with unbelievable fast booting. On PegasosII systems is MacOnLinux deeply tested. UAE runs on the most different PCs and laptops. Via a Bluetooth access point is UAE installed on PalmOS and PocketPCs. The party will be going until the late night. `22.Jun.2005` ANN (Webseite)	Freescale Technology Forum: "Best of show" awarded to Genesi At the Freescale Technology Forum Orlando, Florida Genesi was awared as the "Best of show". The award is for Genesi's Home Media Center (screen shot) which is based on the PegasosPPC and open source software. Among the jury there were media representives from CMP United Business Medias CommsDesign an EE Times online community, Penton Medias Electronic Design magazine and the online publication analogZONE. Criterions were technological merit, market impact, usability and the "cool factor".
