`01.Jun.2022`	Competition: 'Amiga Blitz Basic Game Jam' started Today indie game developer Dan 'zooperdan' Thoresen (Wheel of Fortune implementation 'YAWoFFA') started the Amiga Blitz Basic Game Jam: until September 1st 2022 Amiga developers are invited to write and submit games in AmiBlitz or Blitz Basic (amiga-news.de reported). The idea behind this contest is to increase the number of programmers and the knowledge around the Amiga and the use of Blitz Basic and AmiBlitz to create games. This means that all games submitted must include the source code so that beginners have examples to study and learn from. Only games for 68k Amigas with AmigaOS are admitted, MorphOS, AmigaOS 4 and AROS are excluded. Likewise, submissions requiring Vampire cards, graphics cards or other special hardware will not be accepted. The game of the winner determined by a jury will be published on CD by Bitmap Soft. Public winners will receive a THEA500 Mini, a Deluxe Mini Monster Retro Gaming Joystick Kit, or a Tales of Gortluth III CD-ROM, among other prizes. More details under the title link. The location, in the historic center of the city of Spoleto, is the ideal place to spend a weekend in contact with history, culture and food and wine; Spoleto has been able to combine modernity with its past that can still be breathed in the streets, squares and which makes it a unique city in the world. Because of its charm, it was chosen as the location for the RAI fiction 'Don Matteo'.
