Event: 30th Assembly Summer 2022 in Helsinki
The demo party "Assembly" has been held since 1992 and thus celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. From August 4 to 7 at the Messukeskus exhibition center in Helsinki, there will be various demo competitions, including the Oldskool competition, in addition to various program items such as demo demonstrations, gaming and e-sports. Event: AmiWest 2022 (20.-24. October in Sacramento, USA)
From October 20-24, 2022, the 25th AmiWest will be held at the Holiday Inn Express in Sacramento, California, as a combined online and in-person event. According to the event's latest blog post, the multicore capability of AmigaOS 4 will be showcased by the ExecSG team at the show. Live-Event: Back In Time 2022 - A Musical Homage to the C64 & Amiga (Norway)
FastLoaders is a C64/Amiga remix metal band from Bergen, Norway. There, at Stereo Bar, on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 18:00 to 02:30, they will host a mini-festival dedicated to music and retro games from the golden era of Commodore 64 and Amiga. Among the musicians will be Chris Huelsbeck. Ticktes are available for around 50 Euros. (dr)
