MorphBounties: ARexxPPC The reimplementation of the script language ARexx for MorphOS is another Self-Bounty project. In the forum of the MorphZone Sigbjørn 'CISC' Skjæret gives you an survey over the current development status. The following functions of the rexxsyslib.library are still missing: Rexx(), rxParse(), rxInstruct(), EvalOp() and CVs2i(). The aim of the Self-Bounty is 800 US-Dollar, currently there are 200. Each user who gives a bounty gets the current PPCRexxPatch. (snx) (Translation: dr) [News message: 03. Feb. 2006, 17:18] [Comments: 0] [Send via e-mail] [Print version] [ASCII version] |

MorphOS: Opinion poll concerning Prefs-system Christian "Tokai" Rosentreter has started an opinion poll at morphzone.org where you can express your favourites concerning the pref-system which is used by MorphOS. Obviously there is a discussion between MorphOS developers how prefs programs should work in future. Some of them want to keep up the "Amiga feeling" where you have a configuration program with the buttons "save", "use" and "abort" while others want to have a completely new and different concept: The preferences are supposed to be saved automatically if the user quits the program and the button "use" will be deleted. But a button "restore" will be contained which restores the preferences the user used at last (examples: SDL- and Ambient-Prefs, Current Ambient-Build). (cg) (Translation: dr) [News message: 03.
