AmigaPage: Workbench-Competition "Amiga Passion" "Amiga Passion" competiton was born to take you part of the AmigaPage (italian online magazine) life. The target of the competition are all the Amiga users and you'll attend with one or more of your WB Grab (max 3) that will be send to kanuka@ciaoweb.it with "Concorso" as subject. The competiton goes on till the 31st December 2001. The first four positions will win a copy of the game 'Extreme' donated by DKGStore. In addition AmigaPage offer a mousepad, a brooch and a poster rispectively to 1st, 2nd and 3rd classifier. The judges are Marco Lovera, Sandra Lovera and Claudio Marro Filosa. After 31/12/01 we'll have the time to take counsel for a unanimous vote. All grabs that you send will be show below and after "Amiga Passion" we'll move all in the "Computer Passion". Graphic competition: Schlachtfeld For one month there is the graphic competition to "Schlachtfeld". Today Horst Diebel gave some more details for the graphics to be made.
In contrary to the "old" Schlachtfeld units and background will stand in a relation 1 to 1 that means 64 pixels are ca. 20 m. The size of the pattern will be 64x64 pixels and you can use 256 colours or more. The developer would be very delighted if you took part.

SharkPPC is not a development of ELBOX?! On Sunday 18th of November in 2001 on the VGR-sites (title link) a very interesting news message has been published: The SharkPPC which was introduced by ELBOX at the fair is supposed to be nothing more than a relabeled Sonnet PPC-card. If you will have a look at the Sonnet-product site it will confirm it. Accordingly ELBOX has not developed "its" SharkPPC for itself. Therefore the introduction of the SharkPPC+ (which is supposed to have IDE-controller, AGP-slot and USB) can be doubted. (ps) (Translation: dr) [News message: 21.
