MorphOS: Ambient-Gimmick/3D-Layers-Demo Elephant 1.1
Elephant written by Christian Rosentreter is an Ambient-Gimmick which demonstrates the 3D features of the user-interface under MorphOS 2.0 (screenshot). 3D-layers must be activated.

Meanwhile, version 1.2 is available at the title link. The update includes further elephants (Marble, Galvanized Iron, Rose Quartz, Jade, Dream of Stars, Glass, Blue, Camouflage, Copper), a cycle mode (morphs through random materials) and the option to disable sound effects. (cg) (Translation: dr)

AmigaOS 4.1: Further demo for compositing engine
With the cube demo written by Massimo Tantignone (screenshot) there is another little example of an application for the composoting engine.

MorphOS: Screen lens Szoom (Update)
Already one month ago Michal 'kiero' Wozniak has published a screen lens for MorphOS which uses TinyGL and which can be controled with the Control-key combined with the mouse wheel.

This feature should work on all screens with from 16 Bit, is similar to the program "Lens" for AmigaOS 4.1 but is not refreshed in real-time.

Meanwhile it has been clarified that szoom is only realtime with conventional layers (not 3d layers) in its current version. (snx) (Translation: dr)
