AmigaOS 4: SimCoupe emulates "Sam Coupe"
Ventzislav "drHirudo" Tzvetkov has ported the emulator SimCoupe, which is based on SDL for the AmigaOS 4 (screenshot).

SimCoupe emulates the "SAM Coupé" - an 8 bit home computer which is Z80 based and which was built in 1989 by Miles Gordon Technology. Although it had pretty advanced skills, compared with other 8 bit computers of that time, it had little success since the 16 bit computers (Amiga, Atari, Macintosh and PC) have already been standard. Nevertheless some nice software titles were published for this PC, which demonstrate the unique sound skills and graphics skills.

AROS: Graphics cards driver for ATI cards
Michael Schulz has published a 2D driver for ATI graphics cards. This driver uses the graphics hardware for the following operations:
  • accelerated line drawing
  • rectangles
  • filled rectangles
  • polygons

Only "monochrome text drawing" is not yet accelerated by the graphics hardware.

The driver has to be copied to SYS:Devs/Drivers, additionally the I2C class should be in the same directory.
