`15.Sep.2005` Markus Pohlmann (ANF)	Prerelease: new arcade game "BatDefense" under work Markus Pohlmann works on "BatDefense", a game where you must defend a city against bats (Screenshot). The author writes the following: "From now you can find an lha-archive of a prerelease of the game "BatDefense", version 0.4, at the website www.pohlsoft.de. The archive's size is about 3 MB. The game is based on an old arcade game's idea, where you have to defend a city with a plane against the attack of huge bats. You must have a graphics card with a screen mode of 640x480 in 16 bit and ca. 10 MB of free memory. The game was developed and tested with a graphics card under Picasso and on a 68060; CGFX should work also. I am eager to know which computer and configuration can run the game and if its speed is acceptable, because I can test it only on an evaluation pc. The graphic routines as well as the sound routines of this program will be implemented into the "Project Crashsite" (yes, the project is still alive). BatDefense is some sort of a "test driver" for these routines. Therefore the bug reports are heavenly important for me!
