`06.Oct.2004` Michael Christoph (ANF)	Card-game: myKlondike 1.21 A new version of the Solitaire/Klondike clone "myKlondike" has been released. The update contains the following changes and improvements: Free moving of the cards by using the mouse. There is undo and redo now (maximum 400 actions). Up to eight freely choseable samples may be played by datatypes Fallback mode if a card set is not found. The best game result is shown at the information window. `06.Oct.2004` MorphZone (website)	MorphOS: Port of the HuC C compiler for the PCEngine/Turbografx Kelly Samel has made a port to MorphOS of the HuC C compilers for the game console PCEngine/Turbografx. `06.Oct.2004` Christian Rosentreter (ANF)	MorphOS: OGG media stream tool collection ogmtools 1.4.1 released ogmtools allow information about, extraction from, creation or splitting of OGG media streams. OGM is used for "OGG media streams". The archive contains: ogmmerge This program takes the input from several media files and joins their streams (all of them or just a selection) into an OGM. ogminfo This program lists information about all streams contained in an OGM including information about the codecs used. ogmdemux This program extracts all or only some data streams from an OGM and writes them to separate files. ogmsplit This program can be used to easily split an OGM file after a given size. Several OGM files will be created that each start with a keyframe. ogmcat This program can be used to concatenate several OGG/OGM files into one big file if they are of the same type. Please note ogmcat is not fully working yet, since it's a work in progress version. For more information read the included documentation in AmigaGuide or man format. `02.Oct.2004` Kristian Eklund (ANF)	Genesi Scandinavia presents the CrabFire Multi-purpose Firewall Göteborg, Sweden, 2004-10-01 - Newly formed Genesi Scandinavia presented the CrabFire firewall at Smart Networks Developer Forum (SNDF) in Frankfurt, Germany. The CrabFire is not only a firewall, but also a spam and virusfilter. The firewall can be configured to filter spam and e-mail virus heading for your corporate mailserver. If your company has several office-locations one CrabFire can be placed in each office and a secure, encrypted tunnel can be opened between them. Your employers will be able to access all computers just as if they were on the same local network. One other thing you can use your CrabFire for is Packet filtering. With this feature you can stop network users from using any Internet applications you do not want to be used -- such as peer-to-peer file sharing and instant messaging programs. Changing the service ports in these applications will not work - the CrabFire scans within the packets for signatures from these programs and will stop or log them, depending on your configuration. The CrabFire runs on a 1GHz 7447 PowerPC processor and has 1 Gigabit Ethernet port (LAN) and 1 10/100 Mbit port (WAN). A dual-Gigabit version will be available shortly. The specifications are subject to small changes towards the final release. Genesi Scandinavia received very positive feedback from both attendees and presenters at SNDF and we are confident that this product will be of great interest to companies all over the world. The CrabFire will be price-competitive towards competitive alternatives. We estimate this firewall will be finalized in three months. `29.Sep.2004` Andreas Magerl (ANF)	Intermediaware is looking for programmers for Amiga port Intermediaware is looking for a talented Amiga programmer who may port the game "Psychoballs" (information by the title link) to AmigaOS 3, AmigaOS 4 and/or MorphOS. All source code from the original developers will be provided as well as all graphics and sound/music files. The game is a clone of the Amiga classic Logical by Rainbow Arts.
