Announcement: 68k-Live-Remixing-Tool PT1210
Andreas Rösner wrote: After one year of development time the developers h0ffman & Akira Rei has finished the beta version of the new live-remixing-application "PT1210" for the Commodore Amiga (screenshot).

According to the developer Akira basically it is a Protracker-MOD-software which simulates the functionality of a Pioneer CDJ Turntables but works with Tracker-modules.

Basically the programm runs on all Amigas with ECS-chipset. The application was written in assembler code by h0ffman. Akira has created the user-interface. The concept was developed by both partners.

The programm is supposed to be presented at the Datastorm 2014 in Göteborg which will take place from February 14th until 16th. Release date will be April 18th during the Revision 2014 in Saarbrücken, Germany.

Together with Cloanto, Google released a port of the Amiga emulator UAE for Chrome, utilizing the Portable Native Client (PNaCl) for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Chrome OS. This way the PNa-Client requests the corresponding C programs from Google's servers and translates the commands into the native code of the platform the browser is currently running on.

The demo version for Chrome 31+ at the title link can be upgraded for 74 Cent by Cloanto's Amiga Forever Essentials. They include Kickstart versions 1.2, 1.3 as well as 2.04 and enable usage of ADF disk images.
