Albrecht Kinzkofer (E-Mail)

Hot: Hard Times for Internet Businesses (Update)
Yesterday Albrecht Kinzhofer brought the above article to our attention. In the article it is described that the Frankfurt credit card service provider EuroCard Systems made a contract with one customer, who does Web shipments. The reason is that there were too many dishonest customers.

Kinzhofer fears that this new development could affect many Amiga dealers, who only have the ability to pay COD, where the costs are usually bundled in with the price the customer pays.

We want to inquire of Amiga dealers, software houses and others, if they have had similarly bad experiences and what consequences have arisen from that.

Update:
In the comments section on the German side there have been many interesting points of view and other bits of information. (ps) (Translation: dm)

Amiga Future: Poll - "What OS do you prefer on the Pegasos?"
Today a new poll (in German) was started on the Amiga Future homepage: "What OS do you prefer on the Pegasos?" Additionally, the results of the last poll have been published in the interactive area.

Note: English speakers can probably handle this with these short instructions:
  1. go to page linked at title of this article
  2. click on the word "interactive" on that page
  3. make your selection in the yellow box on the next page
  4. click "abstimmen" to vote.

Good luck! -DM (ps) (Translation: dm)
