History: AmigaPage extended with adverts
Marcus Neervoort wrote:
Again an update after longer delay....

I received some Amiga adverts and Amiga show adverts, again. Those are online from today and can be found under 'AMIGA GESCHICHTE'.

Furthermore from today my special site about the Amiga World 2001 is online. Unfortunately there is not much content, yet, but this will change during the following weeks.....

So, have fun till the next update.

Kind regards, Marcus (sd) (Translation: mj)

AmigaOS: AmigaSDL
The cross platform handling of games and multimedia applications is often very difficult. There's a great number of libraries that are supposed to close this gap. Among them SDL (Simple Directmedia Layer) seems to come out as the probably most elegant and best supported project of this kind. Thanks to the latest work of long standing Amiga developer Gabriele Greco there's now an AmigaOS port of SDL available.

In his article (title link) John Chandler wrote on Suite101.com why SDL may probably be the best solution in cross platform programming for the AmigaOS and delivers some links.
