Ventzislav Tzvetkov's Boulderdash clone BoxWorld has been updated. New features in version 1.14 include:
- 70 new puzzles
- Rewritten to use OpenGL - fully resizable game window

- Best solutions in moves are saved for each puzzle

MorphOS: Updated SCANdal driver for Epson and Mustek scanners
Michal 'zukow' Zukowski's SCANdal is a scanner application which supports driver in Betascan format. In this latest release threshold and halftones support were added.
A veta version for a Lexmark driver is also included which has still some limitations.

AnArchiver 1.61
AnArchiver is an user-interface for file compression programs. Different formats can be extracted with the xadmaster.library as well as LHA-, LZX- and
Zip-archives can be created. This update package is based on version 1.60 and mainly offers an improved support for LHA 2.15.

Update of Amiga Games List
David Brunet has added new Amiga games to his database. The "Amiga Games List" now includes 11476 entries.
Two additional marks in the new database inform if the games either run under a ColdFire-processor (column "ColdF") or under AROS-PPC (column "AROS-PPC") - but both categories only include one entry so far. Besides, the database knows now the programming language Python.

MUIBuilder 2.3
Some time ago the source code of MUIBuilder was released. Now a first version 2.3 of MUIBuilder was published for AmigaOS/68k and AROS/x86. The program makes it more easy for developers to create graphical user-interfaces.

USB-Stack: ANAIIS 0.99
ANAIIS ("Another Native Amiga IO Interface Stack") published by Gilles Pelletier is an USB-stack which runs on systems with a 68000-processor as well. The stack requires at least AmigaOS 1.3 and is meant for Zorro-II-systems without any accelerator boards. The user-interface was reworked as well as some bugs fixed.

LHA: Year-2011-Patch for version 1.38
With a patch version 1.38 of LHA can now also deal with the Year-2011-problem. This version was still written in assembler and therefore is much faster than version 2.x.

After a version for AmiCygnix, Alfkil Wennermark has now published a first native port of the C++ class library Qt for AmigaOS 4. But the author points out that this version may crash.

Amiga Future: Issue 88 released
The English and German issue 88 (Januar/Februar 2010) of the print magazine Amiga Future has been released today and can be ordered directly at its editorial office and Amiga dealers.
The magazine contains, among other topics, a show report from AmiWest, an interview with Carl Sassenrath and tests of Super Tux Kart as well as Epiar. The Cover-CD contains full versions of Inheritants of the Earth (German version), Fantastic Dreams and XTrace.
