Ich will das Grex zum laufen bringen unter bppc mit rev 0.
dazu braucht man doch das flash ohne openpci support und die cgx v42 beta 11.

Wo find ich das flash update ohne openpci support?

Nein, das ist die für G-REX, also mit PCI Support. Du brauchst die für die BPPC, also ohne PCI Support.

Warum muß es eigentlich v4.2pre11 sein? Tut es v4.3rc5 nicht?

Also ich hab jetzt die Grex im amiga drin. pci scan findet auch die voodoo und im early boot menu sind auch so um die 10 devices aufgelistet wohinter "working" bei allen steht. ich denke mal das die Grex funzt.

nun aber mein Problem (was höchstwahrscheinlich an dem flash update liegt). der rechner is total lahm. ich hab nur ne nackte os3.9 installation mit cgx drauf, wobei zur zeit das video signal nur ausm rgb kommt. es hat mich so um die 20sek gedauert das pciscan archiv zu entpacken. also der rechner is tot lahm, dauert ewig das sich die hdtoolsbox oder screenmode voreinsteller öffnet.
kennt jemand das problem? und weiß auch die lösung dafür?

Es heißt doch das die Rev 0 mit Bvision karten probleme machen kann. Die hab ich hier nich. dann sollte ja eigenlich auch die grex funzen oder?

So Rechner läuft weiter nachm FlashUpdate. Jetzt muss nur noch die Grex laufen wenn sie denn mal kommt. hätte heut da sein müssen. :dance3:

In dem Fall das es nich laufen sollte, was für ne möglichkeit gibts denn da? hab gelesen das man angeblich diesen rev 0 fehler umgehen kann mittels umtausch des quarzes... :dance3: :dance2:

Hi Amigafans!

Da ich voraussichtlich morgen das Grex PCI Board bekomm, wollt ich mal wissen wie ich das FlashUpdate genau richtig installier. Die Anleitung is ein bisschen verwirrend. Und soweit ich mich erinnern kann stand auf der alten Grex homepage was anderes über den installationsprozess drin.

kann mir da einer helfen?

achja und läuft die BPPC dann auch ohne Grex weiter nach dem FlashUpdate?

wollt mal fragen was für nen Lüfter man auf die Voodoo 3 3000 befestigen sollte? wird ja dazu geraten extra noch mal ne kühlung drauf zu packen. Ich hab hier nen Lüfter mit 40mm durchmesser. is der zu schwach oder würd der reichen?

Hi Amigafans,

wollte mal fragen ob die Soundblaster Live nen DSP hat. mir gehts halt darum mp3s mit wenig prozessorlast zu spielen. Da ich bald ein Mediator bekomm, wär die anschaffung einer solchen Soundkarte vorteilhaft. und falls die soundkarte dsp hat, wird die auch von der amiga (software/hardware) seite unterstützt?

Also das mit der A+ ist scho komisch. Von mir wurde vor einiger Zeit eine Kleinanzeige in der A+ aufgegeben, die ich hier ins Forum postete. als sich ein interessent meldete, behauptete er in der r mail das er meine anzeige in der a+ ausgabe gesehen hat und interese am damaligen produkt bekundet. hab exra nochmal nachgefragt gehabt ob er wirklich A+ minte, und er bestätigte es mir.

Also ich find es echt unangemessen das anzeigen die eigentlich nur hier fürs Forum bestimmt sind in Magazinen ohne kenntnis des autors auftauchen... X( X(

Man könnte wenigstens mit ner mail oder so benachrichtigt werden.

Also Descent Freespace setzt 060+Graka voraus, also genau das system, das du hast. kannst dir ja mal die demo saugen- is glaub 27MB groß.
