Der FlickerMagic war besser? Kann ich mir gar nicht vorstellen, da die beiden ja Baugleich sind, nur das beim ScanMagic ein oder zwei IC's fehlen die das flickern beim FlickerMagic beseitiegen. Da die Quallität des ScanMagic schon sehr gut ist, dachte ich jetzt...

Ich habe auch den ScanMagic intern. Mein Monitor fängt bei 27kHz an und ich habe mit MonSpecsMUI die Auflösung knapp über 27kHz geschraubt. Das hat zur Folge, das das Bild beim einschlaten des Amigas das Bild perfekt ist. Wird er langsam wärmer fängt das Bild an zu zittern bis der Moni in Stand-By geht. Dann wird er immer heisser und das Bild kommt wieder. Also entweder schön kalt, oder heiss

Aber der grösste Nachteil an dem Scandouber ist, das kein Borderblanker mehr funzt.

Es wurde, so weit ich noch weiss, ein Vertriebspartner gesucht (hat aber nicht geklappt). Die Karte ist sonst "fertig". Alle sourcen sind offen, als man kann die Karte selber bauen. Softwareunterstützung macht Valenta Ferenc wohl noch.

Ich hatte das damals auch mit HP. So weit ich weiss, kann man das abstellen... Formfeed oder so. Einfach mala die Einstellungen ändern.

Warnungen wegen PC-Vieren finde ich lächerlich. Jeder PC user weiss (wenn nicht selber schuld), das man regelmässig Viren per mail bekommt. Wer da kein Viren Programm, Firewall, ... laufen hat, soll sich nachher nicht beschweren.

Warnungen Amiga-Viren betreffend ist eine ganz andere Geschichte. Gerade weil "wenige" neue (wann gabs denn den letzten Virus?) Viren erscheinen, ist es Wichtig darauf hinzusweisen.

Die PC-Viren Warnung gehört in ein PC-Forum! Weil dort ist es Wichtig. So weit kommt das noch, das hier vor jedem neuen pc "bakterium" gewarnt wird und ein neuer Thread auftaucht. Das würde dann in die Kategorie SPAM fallen.

Wenn du das IBrowse Fenster meinst (alsos mit Snapshot), dann dürfte es ein MUI Problem sein. Evtl. das Keyfile vergessen ?

Safe is small CLI command to detect [linkviruses] in Your system. It checks memory and itself only when running and does NOT reside anywhere in memory.

Expect that it always checks memory for some most recent things that xvs doesn't support at the moment and of course for viruses known by xvs.library...

Safe hat einige Parameter, mit RENRAM wird die RamDisk umbenannt. Am besten du guckst es dir selber an. :-)

Ich empfehle da mal das Programm "Safe". Es soll eigendlich nur nach Viren ausschau halten, aber es bietet auch die Funktion aus "Ram Disk" - Ram: zu machen. Dann hast du gleich zwei Fliegen auf einmal erwischt ;-)

Das Bugtracking wird über die Sourceforge-Homepage abgewickelt. Dorthin solltest Du Dich wenden, denn da kannst Du auch sehen, ob Dein Problem bereits jemand eingetragen hat.

Das habe ich schcon mal gemacht, leider ohne Ergebnis. Andererseits stand da was auf der seite wo ich yam runtergeladen hatte, das die betaversion nichts mit dem yam developer team zu tun hat.

Nein , dank Deines Hinweises hab ich jetzt auch Probleme.
Hab mal ein paar alte Mails gescheckt, und siehe da, ein paar alte

Wenn AOS4 mal kommen sollte, dann wohl. Es gibt zumindestens betatester mit neueren MUI Versionen.

Es gibt (sollte im Aminet sein) einen patch (020er) für die muimaster.library. Allerdings auch davon selbst verschieden (die auch nicht alle sauber laufen) versionen, nur an der Grösse zu erkennen.

Guck einfach beim Monitor, ob der 50Hz kann bei ca. 30kHz. Normal können das alle, naja was mit neuen Monitoren ist, weiss ich auch nicht. :-)

ALL THE GAME SECRETS!

This is for the Current V2.5. It seems like updates may now become very slow
as Edgar works on his next Donkey Kong game. I would like to thank Edgar for
this great game, I hope he reads this one day & I hope he doesn't get annoyed
that I have released this. Oh my previous high score was 12 Million, then after
reading all these and using them to my advantage, my new high score is 97
million. If anyone has got a higher score than this, please Mail me at any of
the addresses at the bottom of this text file. Onto the text!
If a new version gets released & new secrets added, this file WILL be updated
and available at my BBS for Download.

1 - Catching a skull will add to the chances that extra life and cash
multiplyer bonuses appear.

2 - By shooting the hurry-up ship, you can collect the rank marking that you
are missing.

3 - When a smart bomb have exploded and the gems are falling. You can collect
them by holding down the joystick.

4 - If you have a multiply when entering the meteor-storm, you may get alot of
points.

5 - Catching a warp icon in an alien stage with a bonus level will give you a
perfect score.

6 - Red, Green and Blue skulls will give you a very good weapon. Full fire
power and the best ship speed.

7 - When a hurry-up ship have appeared 8 times. A money ship will appear.
Shooting this ship can give you alot of money.

8 - If you have a weapon type, and catch the same weapon, you will get more
firepower.

9 - Completing the Meteor-storm will give you 100,000 points and 1,000 in
cash. And if you ... hmm. He He..

10 - You can figure out what skull you have not taken by looking at the colour
of the meteors in the meteor storm.

11 - If you have caught 2 aliens and the scope is active. You can get alot of
points by the aliens off the screen.

12 - If you have the rank of Admiral and you buy more rank markings, you will
get 1,000,000.

13 - Having a multiply active when completing the game will give you alot of
points.

14 - If you have all the rank markings for a new rank, and then buy more rank
markings, you will instead buy a new rank.

P.S. to Edgar. Active has an E on the end

P.P.S to anyone. Game Secret 13 seems to be impossible, you would have to get
the bonus multipler on level 74 (Bonus Level) and keep it during the whole
level, and the kill the level 75 beastie in record time. And that would have
to be quick, though i did notice muliplyers do stay longer as each round of
75 starts again...

P.P.P.S. What is the extra bit on Secret 9...got me wondering.

In Zukunft solltest du dir mal einen Filemanager besorgen (aminet), wie z.b. DOpus. Das hilft nicht nur bei solchen Fällen :-)

Ich habe den FAST-ATA-Controller und bin zufrieden damit. Allerdings ist der Einbau nicht ganz einfach. Da muss man das A1200 board ausbauen und dann den Controller aufsetzen (mit gewalt). Zur stabilisierung unbedingt etwas unter das board legen. Sonst knack und pfutsch :-)
