well...i just tried to copy the amiga os 3.9 cd on my harddisk to install os 3.9 in winuae....everytime there was a error with the file cd:emergency-bootstoragedosdriversAUX
i tried it with iso buster cause i thought maybe the sector where the file is in is corrupted...but i could read it. well, i just could not write the file as is on the hardfile. i was not able to create any file named "aux" on windows millenium or windows 2k. so i looked at google and i found an usenet post about the file aux on windows. it seems like aux is a reserved filename under windows.
so how can i copy the os3.9 cd on my harddisk?
or rather how can i install os 3.9 on winuae?
i saw a tutorial where it says that i have to copy the cd onto my harddisk to install it. (the tutorial is about the older version of 3.9 which had red(?) printing instead of pink or so...(on the newer cd is a script to install os3.9 in a amulator. (install-emu or so))) but how to add the cdrom drive?

please help me

just add your cd-drive as directory in the winuae-settings in the chapter "harddrives".
click on button "add directory" there and fill the volume-field with CD0: and point in the path-field to the cd-drive (D:, E: or whichever).
Unselect "read/write" and you're done.

so did I and it works fine.

insert a cd, that's all.

correction: enter only CD0 without double-point.
