Tao Group Delivers Rich Java(TM) Media Content to Devices Powered by TI's OMAP
Enables premium services for mobile client devices
San Francisco (March 25, 2002) - To meet the demands for its technology from blue chip consumer electronics manufacturers and global telecommunication carriers, Tao Group has made its intent, best-in-class multimedia engine, available on TI's OMAP(TM) application processors.

intent is the core software for the Open Contents Platform Association (www.ocpa.jp), which was formed in 2001 to enable the mobile and home client device market to develop premium contents based around a single software platform. The association now has more than sixty member companies including corporations such as Toyota, Sony, Sharp, Kyocera, Samsung, Epson, JVC, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Pioneer, Sanyo, Sega, Bandai, Taito and Capcom.
