FPGA-based Amiga clone: AmiCUBE 1200 becomes MiST ITX
In a video dated 25 February, developer Ranko Rodics announced that his "next-generation FPGA-based Amiga clone" (his own description, amiga-news.de reported) that the capabilities of the originally used Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA have been exhausted, so that the Xilinx SP701 (Gen 7 platform) will be used in the future. In addition, the developer has changed the name of the board from AMICUBE 1200 to MiST ITX, as the original schematics and design originate from MiST. By changing the name, he hopes to reduce confusion and also to respect the work of Till Harbaum.
In another video from three days ago, he also announced that he had published the Gerber files and circuit diagrams for the MiST ITX on his website minimig.ca. (dr)
