Operating system: NetBSD 11.0 (Update)
NetBSD, a Unix-based operating system, is now available in version 11.0. The nineteenth major release of NetBSD is also available as a native port for 68k Amigas. In addition, there is a port for PowerPC computers running Open Firmware, such as the Pegasos 2, as well as one labeled "experimental" for PowerPC Amigas, which, however, is described to be unusable by Frank Wille.

The major changes since the last version are listed on the NetBSD website at the title link - among other things, improved compliance with the POSIX.1-2024 and C23 programming interface standards has been implemented. Regarding the Motorola 680x0 architecture, in addition to improved floating-point emulation, there is a new port called virt68k for running the Motorola 68000 port using the QEMU emulator with paravirtualized devices.

Update: (15:47, 03.08.26, snx)
PowerPC/OF port and comment regarding PPC-Amiga version added. (snx)
