Commercial Integrated Development Envirnment: Ami::Blocks IDE and AmiCC23
James Purcell has added a modern C compiler toolchain called AmiCC23 to his Code::Blocks-inspired integrated development environment Ami::Blocks, and is marketing the combined product commercially.
AmiBlocksIDE combines source-code editing, project management, native compilation, build output, program execution, and debugging tools in one integrated Amiga application. The included AmiCC23 toolchain provides a modern C development workflow and produces native Amiga executables. A demo version is available; the full version is available at an introductory price of 39.99 GBP (just under 47 euros), the price is set to rise to 49.99 GBP (58.50 euros) at a later date. (cg)
