Rupert Hausberger (ANF)

MorphOS: DIL 1.31
With DIL ("Device Intervention Layer") Rupert Hausberger has published a system for MorphOS with which you can manipulate, encode or control data streams (screenshot). The news in version 1.31 are available in the changelog.

DIL adds new, virtual dirves to the system which are a copy of a real existing drive (or device). If a application tries to access such a virtual device the data streams will be manipulated in the way the user want to and only then they will be taken to the real application or drive. AmigaOS 4: bzip2 1.0.4 and AmiDVD 1.31
For AmigaOS 4, new versions of the file compression program bzip2 as well as the CD/DVD-burning program AmiDVD were released by Jörg Strohmayer.

bzip2 1.0.4

Different from the previous AmigaOS 4 ports of the compression program, this version uses a shared library of AmigaOS instead of a static link library. The July 2007 update of the operating system is required.

AmiDVD 1.31

The current version from July 24 likewise requires the AmigaOS 4 July Update. In addition to an error circumvention for SFS, which should allow the creation of image files > 2 GB again, the directory view was partitioned into two list views for memory capacity reasons. Furthermore, the writing speed can now be determined for drives that do not support the "Get Performance" command as well.

J.P. Jokela has compiled version 0.1.9 of REminiscence for MorphOS, which largely clears up errors. Here, it is about a newly written engine for the game Flashback by Delphine Software.

PowerSDL and files of the original version for MS-DOS are required as well as, optionally, modules of the Amiga version. Please note that it is not possible to switch between windowed and full-screen modes in REminiscence with the current version of PowerSDL.

Download: REminiscence-0.1.9-morphos.lha (154 KB)

Update: (19:59, 30.07.07, snx)
With the new version 11.13 of PowerSDL, the problem concerning the full-screen mode is solved. (snx) (Translation: cad)

Press release After almost two years now time has come. 3H Records is proud to announce the release of the new Psyria album on August, 10th in regular resale shops (e.g. Saturn), Internet shops (e.g. Amazon) and all known download portals (e.g. Musicload).

"The 2. Chapter" offers 14 titles for all Techno, Trance, Dance, Electronial and Retro enthusiasts who like the sound of Psyria.

Furthermore the homepage of Psyria got a huge update. In the download area there are now preview snips of the new CD and all snips as one filed "preview in the mix".

Those who do not want to wait for the official release date have already now the possibility to get the new CD directly from the label 3H Records.

I want to mention that the Psyria homepage is still Amiga browser friendly and this won't change (tested with Ibrowse & Voyager). (snx) (Translation: wk)
