Tales of Tamar - Bokks of Legends
Pressemitteilung: Dear friens of the intensive and crazy role playing game, dear players and promotersof Tales of Tamar.

Since several centuries the big library of Arbanor was told to be forgotten in the vastness of Tamar. Diligent monks now began to create a new library in a painful detail work.

We are a little proud to announce that our ToT-Wiki is online. We at Tales of Tamar are writing a story covering 600 years so far. As the players are becoming a part of Tamar's history, our ToT-Wiki helps to keep tales of old empires, former emperors, unforgotten battles, myths and sagas from all over the world.

Discover the unbelievable richness der of the world of Tamar and become your own legend in den annals...

Access to the new library: tamar.net/wiki

Regards Your ToT team (cg) (Translation: tz)

New Amiga Future Page online
Press release: The last weeks we have put much time and money into the Amiga Future homepage. The time has come. Yesterday evening the new page went online.

The new homepage automatically detects the language setting on the user's computer. If set to German it will load the German page and if set to English it will load the English one respectively. Of course registered users have the choice to set the language differently in the page settings. By the way all registered users should check their settings. Lots of stuff has been added.

The search engines of the whole homepage have been improved. Now it is possible to search every database on every page.

A new gallery has been installed which allows subsections. This makes the gallery containing over 1000 pictures clearly arranged. The new gallery allows to display pictures directly within the forum and the articles.

A new article database has been installed aswell. It is a lot faster than before and displays the articles better.

And finally a new download database has been installed. It is now possible to describe the downloads. We only need someone to help us out with that. :) Now you can add comments to the downloads and report mistakes.

We installed a new lexicon for the news section and forum posts. Nearly everything in the article database can be viewed as a PDF document.

There are lots of more features. You can choose whether you want to see German oder English news. This setting includes the search engines. There will be some more improvements in the next few weeks. We would like to know from you what to change. Because of that we started a poll on the Amiga Future homepage.

Amiga Future looks for help for the editorial office.

We look for (German or English) users having a good knowledge of the Amiga and some free time. If you are interested the please write an email to Andreas@amigafuture.de using the subject "Amiga Future".

We need people for the homepage aswell. We already have a huge download section with full versions on the Amiga Future homepage. Now we look for someone to help us out regularly or once. It is all about the check of some downloads and writing a small description of the program including the requirements.

Additionally, we search for someone to support us in getting new full verions. Especially we need someone to look for the current copyright owners (i.e. Psygnosis) and to ask them for a license for the Amiga Future.

Other sections of the homepage need help aswell. For example we need a user who takes care of the link database. It is about extending the content. Besidess of that we are looking for a PHP programmer to write us some small scripts to ease the work with the homepage. (cg) (Translation: cg)
