AROS: New bounty site at Power2People online / Efika-bounty opened again
After delegating the bounty programs of Team AROS to Power2People the single bounty projects will be carried on under the title link.

Power2People is a non-profit organization led by Raquel Velasco and Bill Buck (Genesi) situated in Texas, USA. Through this the AROS-bounty-program is tax-free.

The bounty-project #18 which is an AROS-port to the Efika-board was opned again after the previous developer has vanished. The current staus of the bounty is 3151 US-Dollar. (snx) (Translation: dr)

MorphOS: 2007 Complete Car and Driver Set 1.5 for VGP 2
Jason Frabotta's project "VGP HD" tries to improve the engine of Paolo Cattani's Formel-1 simulation Virtual Grand Prix 2.

The 2007 Complete Car and Driver Set 1.5 makes available a new driver configuration file, a new cockpit, three new steering wheel skins, updated crash helmet and new team wheel rims (screenshot).

Currently Jason Frabotta has not a MorphOS system therefore he asks for your feedback if the set is usable. (snx) (Translation: dr)

DiscreetFX: Effects package SportsFX for Video Toaster announced
Under the title link DiscreetFX has announced the availablilty of the digital video effect package SportsFX for VT[5], SpeedEDIT and TriCaster bekannt. A version for the Amiga Video Toaster 4000 with bonus effects will follow soon. (snx) (Translation: dr)

MorphOS: Debug 1.1
Debug 1.1 for MorphOS 2.0 is a small commandline tool to enable/disable Exec debug flags from the commandline, saving the occasional user to go through the system settings menu.

Minimig box: Price anounced
Loriano Pagni has announced the price for his Minimig box. It is 67,45 Pound (about 85 Euro) plus shipping.

Event: PowerDev-Meeting in Prague
On the 23./24. August the Czech Pegasos user group (Czech PUG) will organize a PowerDev-Meeting in Prague. Additional to version 2.0 of MorphOS the developer boards with the processors MPC5121E (planned for the "Efika 2") and MPC8610 will be introduced. (snx) (Translation: dr)

Press release: The German issue 44 of the Amiga Future is out of stock. Because of that the content of this issue is now available at our website.
