Further warnings concerning AmigaOS 3.1.4 According to the author of the Amiga Documents report on Twitter he has "reliable source indicates that Avangate, Digital River, Amiga on the Lake and Alinea Computers received cease and desist notices jointly from three companies: Amiga, Amino (Amiga Washington) and Itec." The mentioned traders have been the only ones which after the disputes about the distribution of the digital edition offered the "hardware" version with disks and ROMs in their shops. That corresponds to the statement of our own source which we asked for confirmation. It is not surprising that the Amiga parties obviously try to prevent any distribution of AmigaOS 3.1.4 which in their opinion is an infringement. Single customers of the German trader Alinea already have received the ROMs and disks. It is not known if now the distribution was stopped - some purchasers (again) report on email notifications saying that the product only will be available in a few days again.
