FreePascal 3.2.0a for all Amiga systems
Despite pronouncements to the contrary, Marcus 'ALB42' Sackrow has released another update of his Amiga port of the programming language FreePascal.

Version 3.2.0a is based on Károly 'chainq' Balogh's hints which made available the versions for AmigaOS 3.x, AmigaOS 4, MorphOS and AROS (i386, ARM) on the official download site as planned. (snx) (Translation: dr)

The 100% useless AROS distribution version 0.2
By releasing version 0.2 according to the author Marcus 'ALB42' Sackrow his AROS distribution "it's only 99% useless". His version is based on AROS64 before SMP was added.

The author wrote: "I added some more programs, (not only my own) the FP-IDE does work, but sadly the compilation still crash, so you have to use the shell to compile. I even got the network to work and MUIMapparium shows the map nicely and search also works". (snx) (Translation: dr)

C-A Acquisition Corp. renamed to Amiga Corporation
In 2019 Mike Battilana (Cloanto) founded the C-A Acquisition Corp. and transferred the trademarks, copyrights and Internet domains he had acquired from Amiga, Inc. to this company. So far, amiga.com didn't show anything worth mentioning, but now several Amiga-related logos and a note that these brands are registered trademarks of "Amiga Corporation" have been added to the site.

Approached by amiga-news.de, Mike Battilana confirms that "C-A Acquisition Corp." was renamed to "Amiga Corporation" but that it would remain discreet ("low profile will continue") until the [legal] issues are sorted out. He says the company is not completely inactive though, amongst other things it has been placing full-page advertisements in Amiga Future for more than a year.

Battilana pointed out to a Twitter thread which can be used for directly asking him questions about Amiga Corporation or his plans for the Amiga. (cg) (Translation: dr)

Changes in Hyperion's Management
Last summer, distribution of Hyperion's shares drastically changed when the company issued a capital increase: New shares were issued to pay debts of nearly 400000 Euros owed to Ben Hermans - allegedly for the latter's work as the company lawyer. As a result of this, the other shareholders - in additon to Timothy de Groote, who is mentioned in public documentation, Trevor Dickinson, Costel Mincea and the Frieden Brothers are said to own shares - now collectively own less then three percent of the company.

Shortly after that, Costel Mincea handed over (German) his AmigaOS 4 centric forum os4welt.de to a third party and resigned from his post as a director ("besturder") of Hyperion. The latter was not communicated publicly by either Mincea or Hyperion at the time, but with quite a bit of a delay the change in management is now recorded in Belgium's official company register (KBO, Kruispuntbank van Ondernemingen): Only Timothy de Groote is listed as a "Besturder" for Hyperion now, the request to have Costel Mincea removed as a director (PDF, Dutch) is available as well.

de Groote himself had increased his number of shares during the 2019 capital increase - albeit only by a very tiny amount, compared to Hermans' mass of additional shares. Now the author of the Amiga documents report claims on Twitter that Ben Hermans sued de Groote last November, a claim that is confirmed to amiga-news.de by a second source.

The results of this legal battle are currently unknown. There are unconfirmed rumours that Timothy de Groote, who was still representing Hyperion at the Amiga 34 last October, resigned from his post as a director in the meantime and is only listed in that position until a replacement is found. So far we were unable to either verify or dispel these rumours. (cg)
