Frying Pan: Status update and patch suggestion for MorphOS
Tomasz Wiszkowski, author of the burning programme Frying Pan, is currenty not able to accept registrations due to a stay abroad.

The further development will be reduced but continued for that time, but lack of test equipment there will be no new release until returning home from the stay.

Th elatest addition is the support for CD-Text, also the import and export of sessions is shaping up.

MorphOS 1.4.x users are suggested to use the patch APooler to deal with the prolonged burning times. The reason the the much slower memory allocation under MorphOS 1.4.x. (snx) (Translation: ub)

Amition: More do it yourse projects and commercials from old magazines
At Amition.de five more hardware do it yourself projects have been made publically available as well as some more commercials from old Amiga magazines.

How to: video slot expansion for the A1000
Andre "Ratte" Pfeiffer has enhanced his Amiga 1000 with an A2000 compatible video slot with a Multivision 2000 FlickerFixer inserted:

APC&TCP is looking for Programmers
APC&TCP is looking for programmers with a (very) good knowledge in 68k assembler, but first of all C as well as C++ for speeding up some projects under development. Experience in the field of audio, video and graphics is explicitly required. The gui design is created with ReAction and/or MUI, partially even with GadTools. Jay Glenn Miner would have been 75 years old today
Jay Glenn Miner, the originator of the Amiga, would have been 75 years old today. Miner was born in May 31, 1932 in Prescott, Arizona. He was the head of the original Amiga developer team and cofounder of Amiga Corp. in Los Gatos. Jay Glenn Miner passed away in June 20, 1994 in Mountain View, California, because of kidney failure.
