Point'n Click adventure: Ring around the World
"Ring around the World" (video) by Simone Bevilacqua (KOG, Huenison, Blastaway, among others) is described by the author as a "short, open world, point'n'click adventure from the top view". The player wakes up on the shore of an unknown world and can only remember two things - one of the two memories is his drowning in a stormy sea.

"Ring around the World" requires a PAL Amiga with one megabyte of chip RAM and Kickstart 1.3, a hard disk is recommended. The game is free, the author asks players who like the title to "offer some support to somebody who is a victim of any kind of violence". (cg)

Preview video: Twin-Stick shooter "Rogue Declan: Zero"
Nivrig Games - among others Turbo Santa Deluxe Edition 2022 - have been working for some time on a twin-stick shooter, which he assigns to the rogue-like genre and for which he has now published a first early preview video.

The game is also said to be a test game for the twin-stick controller developed by "Abstraction Games" (amiga-news.de reported). "Rogue Declan: Zero" will have control options that also support a CD32 controller where you use the D-pad for movement and the buttons for shooting in another direction. (dr)

Web browser: AmiFox 0.2 released
AmiFox is a kind of web browser for original Amigas. Marcus 'ALB42' Sackrow has been reporting about its development since mid-February and after a short beta test phase version 0.2 is now generally available.

The principle of this browser is to outsource the actual rendering via WRP (Web Rendering Proxy), so that the finished rendering is sent back to the Amiga just as an image. In return, however, it is possible to display modern web pages containing CSS and Javascript. Interactions with the web page are then reported back to the server.

The underlying WRP was adapted to provide more functions and security/privacy. (snx)

Hollywood: HGui 1.7 at GitHub
Fabio 'Allanon' Falcucci's HGui is a GUI system for Hollywood which, in contrast to the Amiga-specific MUI Royale, is in principle available for all platforms supported by Hollywood (amiga-news.de reported) - even if there are still limitations on Android so far.

The toolkit created with Hollywood only needs the Includes provided in the archive, plugins are not required. The current version 1.7 has now been published on GitHub including the source code, donations to the author via Patreon are welcome. (snx)
