The update which is automatically installed if there is a previous version includes bug fixed audio file types for Magellan II as well as updated versions of 20 programms and components, e.g. AmIRC, NetSurf and Scalos. It now consists of two hacks nodisplayalert and noalert. noalert stops exec.library/alert from displaying, nodisplayalert stops intuition.library/displayalert from displaying. noalert does not recover errors it only intercept the exec.library alert function. The update adds an experimental hardware-accelerated OpenGL frontend. "This is currently disabled by default and not yet working correctly with all examples, or on all platforms."
