`21.Nov.2002` Jens Langner (ANF)	Developer Tool: CVS Version 1.11.2 AmigaOS/MorphOS Port Bugfix Update (2) Today Jens Langner prepared an important bugfix of the AmigaOS and MorphOS ports of CVS (Concurrent Versions System), the program he jointly developed with Olaf Barthel. This may be downloaded by clicking on the title link. In this version (of 21st November, 2002) the main thing is the bugfix, that corrected one big mistake in the last version. It had to do with problems with "committen" of new files, but this should be taken care of now. As always the update may be found at http://amcvs.light-speed.de and also downloaded from Aminet in the next few days. 22nd November, 2002 addition: Jens Langner made a comment: I undertook another bugfix today, and uploaded the current version to the website. `21.Nov.2002` Ralph Debusmann	Music Player: EasyPlayer Version 1.2 Version 1.2 of the music player EasyPlayer (EYP) has appeared. Ralph Debusmann's EasyPlayer offers a user-friendly GUI for shell-based programs such as mpega, GMPlay and SIDPlay. The program is universally useful for all shell-based music playing programs. Requirements: AmigaOS 2.04 (V37) or higher, at least v. 38 ofreqtools.library, at least v. 34 of amigaguide.library, and a shell-based music player program. `21.Nov.2002` OnyxSoft	OnyxSoft: Diverse Software Updates (20th November, 2002) OnyxSoft has released the following programs in updated versions: DagensTV version 1.1 is ready for download. The program processes information of TV shows that is sent via email from http://www.dagenstv.com/. Download: dagenstv.lha A new betaversion( 3.2 Beta 7) of the Tetris clone Detris has been released. Download: detris.lha Mit DRemind lets you remember your important appointments. The main program is at version 1.63, and the Prefs (settings) at version 2.63. Download: dremind.lha The MPegEncGUI is a GUI for the MPEG Audio Encoder. The program is available at version 2.22. `18.Nov.2002` Various sources	Different software updates (until 18.11.2002) On the website of Dirk Stöcker there are now updates for the following Tools available: fd2pragma Version 2.158 GetCRC Version 1.16 CLib-SDI Version 1.1 Rekonet published new card sets for Klondike. Michael Christoph released version 45.8 of ToolsMenu. In the file some catalogs are new. Download: ToolsMenu_V45.8.lha (97 KB) Version 0.8.22R3 of the Amiga emulator WinUAE will soon be available. `18.Nov.2002` AmigaZone (ANF)	AmigaZone: StAHG update available StAHG (the Standard Amiga Help Guide) has received an update (version 1.1). This update is free, and replaces the previous version. Bugfix: This version corrects an error in which some documents could be missed during the scanning process. StAHG is a free utility from AmigaZone as a gift to the Amiga Community. It scans the HELP assign for various forms of documentation and builds a single "WorkBench.guide" with links to each document. `18.Nov.2002` Jens Schönfeld (ANF)	Catweasel Software Updates, X-Surf News The Windows-drivers for the Catweasel ISA have been extended by some features. Mainly support for the new Catweasel MK3 PCI/Flipper has been added. Also in the archive: a driver for Windows 2000 and Windows XP that makes use of a keyboard that's connected to the Catweasel MK3 PCI/Flipper. Download: cw_win_pci.zip (108 KB) The Amiga-version of the driver has also been adapted to the new controller, the new multidisk.device V3.62 now supports the Catweasel MK3 in a Zorro slot, or on any clockport of an Amiga. This device is prepared to support the Catweasel MK3 in a PCI slot of an emulated Amiga (for example Amithlon or Amiga Forever). Download: mdisk362.zip (22 KB) Many people have asked for a picture of the new controller, because it's hard to imagine how the same board can fit in the Zorro slot and in a PCI slot. Here's a picture of the controller, taken out of the running production. It shows the bare board without the metal bracket and the second joystick connector. cwmk3.jpg (113 KB) Good news for all Amiga users who want to bring their computer to a network: The most successful networking card in the Amiga market has been updated, and the price will be lower. The reason for the continuous success of the board might be it's software support: The X-Surf 2 will remain the only networking card on the market that comes with PPPoE drivers - these are necessary for most DSL modems. As opposed to the older model, the new X-Surf 2 does not have a BNC connection any more, all other technical details remain the same. If you need this connector you should be quick, because the last boards have already been shipped to our resellers a few weeks ago. (ps) [News message: 18.
