Atari operating system: EmuTOS 0.9.0
EmuTOS is a GEMDOS-compatible operating system which can be als used on Amiga computers and emulatora as a Kickstart-replacement. It allows to start Atari programms which do not access to the ST-hardware. Version 0.9.0 fixes several bugs.

AmigaOS 4 / MorphOS: Sqrxz 3 1.05
Sqrxz 3 is a classic jump'n'run for exercised players (video) which is availalbe for AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS.
The latest update to version 1.05 by Frank Willes improves the display on screens with solutions higher than 640 x 480 pixels.

Web-Browser NetSurf 3.0 (alpha)
Artur "Arti" Jarosik is about to port the latest alpha version of the web browser NetSurf to AmigaOS ("Development Plan" for Netsurf 3.0). He releases test versions in his blog.
Amiga-related changes in this release:

On 24bit screens, websites are displayed with false colours but on 16Bit screens the bug was fixed. Besides, the status status line occasionally has some useless characters.

ACube Systems: Audio issue on some Sam460-boards identified
Press release: The problem with the crackling audio on some Sam460ex boards/AmigaOne 500 systems has been identified.
For some reasons, still under investigation, a few boards miss a resistor (R267).
This 0 ohm resistor is responsible for the clock source selection of the AC97 codec, without it the codec runs at a wrong frequency which causes the crackling audio.
If you have a sound quality problem with your Sam460ex board/AmigaOne 500 system, please check if the R267 resistor is in place or not. See this photo from the bottom of the board.
If the resistor is missing, it could be easily fixed just soldering the two open pads together, for such fix we suggest to contact your reseller.
Alternatively the problem may be mitigated with a special sm502.audio driver which minimizes (but not completely removes) the noise. Download and try this alternate driver.

Emulator: Preview to WinUAE 2.6.0
As usual the developers of the well-known Amiga emulator WinUAE habe given a preview to the forthcoming version. WinUAE 2.6.0 is supposed to be released in Spring 2013 with the following changes:
New features:
- SCSI and ATAPI (IDE) CD drive emulation.
- Full 68030, 68040 and 68060 MMU emulation. Amix, Linux, NetBSD, Enforcer,
WHDLoad MMU option and more fully working.
- Built-in full CHD CD and HD image support. HD image support is read-only.
- Partial partition hardfile on the fly eject/replacement support, requires
filesystem that has removable drive support.
- Multiple Direct3D shader filters can be enabled simultaneously, optionally
shader can be now run after scaling and filtering.
- Directory filesystem shortcut (.lnk) and symbolic links are mapped to
Amiga soft links.
- Added support for mountlist-like hardfile configuration files.
Updates:
- A590/A2091/A3000 SCSI emulation compatibility improved. (Amix, NetBSD etc..)
- A2065 network adapter compatibility improved. (Early NetBSD versions)
- 68040 MMU emulation compatibility improved.
- Multithreaded IDE and SCSI emulation, slow read or write operations won't
temporarily pause the emulation anymore.
- When CPU double faults, emulated CPU is halted instead of forcing instant
emulated hardware reset.
- Custom chipset emulation improved (Subtle Shades / Nuance).
- Full Amiga file timestamp resolution (1/50s) support on FAT directory
filesystems.
Fixed bugs:
- If display mode switched from RTG to native (or vice versa) and WinUAE window
had no focus: emulation incorrectly started receiving keyboard input.
- 1.5M chip ram option didn't work.
- GamePorts panel Swap Ports button cleared custom mappings.
- 68060 + more compatible checked was unreliable.
- 68040/68060 no FPU/FPU disabled exception stack frame fixed.
- A2024 and Graffiti emulation memory leak fixed.
- FPU rounding mode was reset when using filters.

According to Steen 'bitman' Jessen and with the permission of Ian Chapman, he is going to continue the Big Book of Amiga Hardware under the new URL bigbookofamigahardware.com. The original website is still available, but since September 14th, 2006 no longer updated.

Amiga-Emulator: FS-UAE 2.1.28 (Beta)
Frode Solheim's FS-UAE for Windows, Mac OS X 10.5+ (i386, PPC) and Linux (i386, AMD64) is based on WinUAE and can be completely controlled with a joypad. Changes in the latest beta version:
- For directory hard drives, save file attributes in .uaem files (permissions, timestamp, file note).
- Fix for directory hard drives so correct case is reported back to the Amiga when the Amiga opens a file with another case than what’s stored.
- Report local time for files in directory hard drive.
- Use re-entrant / thread-safe variants of time functions.
- Reverted the scanline function to its older / simpler behavior, use the shader “scanlines-nonlinear” instead.
- New shaders included: scanlines-classic (same as scanline CPU filter), and scanlines-nonlinear (a scanline filter which varies with pixel intensity and also introduces some pixel blending).
- Text cache texture size is now 2048×2048 (was 1024×1024).
- For automatic directory hard drive volume label, only use the part before an opening parenthesis (if it exists).
- New options to configure what screenshots to save and where to save them.
- A bit more compact naming of screenshots, and reset sub-minute counter for each minute (makes sorted names always cronological even with large number of screenshots).
- Can now bind keys to action_screenshot, notification replaces previous notification (of same type).
- Lua scripts can be used to read/write Amiga memory, position the output video rectangle, change shader (experimental feature).
- Support /dev/tty as the serial output [Jason S. McMullan].
- Patch for Linux CD ioctl support [Jason S. McMullan].
- Removed a some useless stubs printed to stdout, removed several printf statements logging stuff to stdout.
- Updated translations: fi [GoingDown], cs [spajdr].
- (Launcher) Make sure the nickname is a valid IRC nickname (net play).
- (Launcher) Fixed problem where .fs-uae configurations could in some cases disappear from the configuration list when refreshing the online database.
- (Launcher) Fixed a bug where config name was saved in config file if based on a config from online database.
- (Launcher) Automatically set screenshots_output_prefix based on floppy name.
- (Launcher) If A500 kickstart is not found on startup, look for Amiga Forever in default location and add kickstarts to database if found (Windows).
- (Launcher) Add Amiga Forever shared documents directory to search path.
- (Launcher) Index files in .rp9 archives, contained disk images can be used with the online database (when match is found).
- (Launcher) Support file comments for WHDLoad slave files when using the online database, comments are stored in .uaem files. Fixes Embryo.
- (Launcher) Allowing selecting .lha files as hard drives.
- (Launcher) Fixed an issue with selecting Amiga 1000 (2.1.26).

Prototype: Minimig-case in A1000-style
In mid-January, Thomas 'Tommes' Koch had presented his designs for a Minimig-case which is similar to the design of an Amiga 1000. Now Koch has a first prototype produced and presents photos of it (is still not varnished) for the first time:
Koch is satisfied with quality and accuracy of fit but is going to change some minor details. The price has not been yet fixed ("between 110 and 180 Euro"). If a low volume production was started, it might be possible to varnish the case directly at the producer.

ACube Systems: onchipmem.resource for Sam460ex-boards
With the onchipmem.resource, under AmigaOS 4.1 ACube Systems provides developers access to the buffer memory of the APM460Ex-SoC. This is much faster than the main memory, nearly as fast as the level-2-cache of the processor.
The buffer is meant to handle application data or to faster exchange data with the video memory. The archive includes a description as well as example source code.

Accelerator board: Vampire 600 is stable
Two years ago Igor Majstorovic announced the FPGA-based accelerator board Vampire 600 for the Amiga 600. According to the developer in the VooDoo-Amiga forum this board is stable and is currently tweaked. He then is going to produce (after the revision) 50 boards with 8 MB memory, and then with 64 MB.
Compared with accelerator boards which have a proper 680x0-processor, like the Fúria EC020, currently the Vampire has a lower performance speed (checked by Sysinfo): With a 72 MHz clocked FPGA, 1332 Dhrystone-instructions per second, compared with the Fúria, which features 4846 on its 28 MHz MC68EC020FG25. A-EON Technology: HD-Audio-driver working
In his blog on the website of A-EON-Technology, Trevor Dickinson told that Lyle Hazlewood recently has started working on the HD-Audio-driver for the AmigaOne X1000. Actually now under AmigaOS 4 sound output is possible over the onboard-chip. Therefore there is no need for a PCI-sound board any more. Currently he is working on the AHI-driver.
Additionally, Lyle Hazlewood together with the USB-stack developer Sebastian Bauer figured that it is possible to record USB-sound over the onboard-ports of the AmigaOne X1000 with the existing stack. But there are some problems with the Sam-boards. They possibly are going to develop an AHI-USB-driver.
Trevor Dickinson has started on a journey to Europe and will meet members of Varisys for talking about hardware and future plans. He is also going to meet other "Amiga" companies and developers.

AmigaOS 4: AttachMail 1.1, FastCompress 1.4, NetDock 50.2, SysMon 2.8
Guillaume 'zzd10h' Boesel has updated four of his AmigaOS-4 programms: AttachMail, FastCompress, NetDock and SysMon.
- AttachMail allows to add attachments to eMails per context menu (YAM and SimpleMail). In version 1.1 among others a Ringhio-notification was integrated
- FastCompress allows to pack files and drawers with two mouse clicks (LHA, LZX, ZIP, 7z). In version 1.4 the Ringhio-notification was added as well as the name of the archive specified by taking the biggest, included file/drawer - if no other name was specified
- NetDock is a docky which displays the network activity and now in version 50.2 can be also to miniaturized. Additionally three ToolTypes as well as AmiUpdate-support were added
- SysMon is MUI-based and allows to identify and remove frozen windows, to change priorities of tasks and processes and to watch drives, assigns and system information. Additional to the Ringhio-notification, in version 2.8 bubble help for different IDETool-gadgets were added

Amiga game launcher: X-bEnCH 0.85 (beta)
X-bEnCH (Youtube-video) is a graphical user-interface with up to 128 colours for starting WHDLoad games (.slave, .exe). For this purpose, it can replace the Workbench and requires low ressources. According to the developer the programm runs on all Amigas with OCS or AGA (68000 to 68060 processors).
Most important changes in version 0.85 beta:
- A new installer will setup X-bEnCH for you.
- Modified files checks on startup.
- Menu Starfield optimised (Faster with 20% more stars on screen).
- Checkerboard loader issue with Indivision/HighGfx fixed.
- "sysinfo" cli command added.
- "help" cli command updated.
- The cli tab is now activated in the setup and you can change the cli colors.
- Many internals checks added.
- Internal changes to be ready for the future Xplorer alpha-testing.

MorphOS: Vector graphic programm SteamDraw 2.3
SteamDraw written by Stefan 'Kronos' Kleinheinrich is an EPS-compatible 2D vector graphic programm. Most important changes in version 2.3:
- Symmetrical polygons
- "Private" tools included in the edit-tool; they were created for polygons and Bezier curves and makes it possible to shift (control)points and (only for polygons) to add or remove poinzs.
- These functions are shown in the context menu.

MorphOS: Remote Desktop 1.6
For MorphOS, version 1.6 of Darren Eveland's Remote Desktop is available. It was ported by Michał Żukowski. The Remote-Desktop-Protocol developed by Microsoft allows the remote access to some Windows operating systems, among others to Vista and Windows 7.

Kickstarter-Project: Leona's Tricky Adventures
Under the title link a Kickstarter-project for an Amiga and Sega-Dreamcast game was initiated. KTX Software Development is the initiator which has already released a Dreamcast game called Hucasts Dux. After in the last year the Kickstarter campaign was finished, KTX Software Development now is going to release the second part of the game called Redux: Dark Matters.
According to the project description the puzzle adventure "Leona's Tricky Adventures" (video) is supported by the comic artits M. Musal and B. Samuel as well as by the game music composers Chris Hülsbeck and Fabian del Priore. It is also planned to add Amiga-support to the Kha-SDK and thus in future to make it easier to develop Amiga games. Kha is a software development kit which was released late last year. A demo version of the SDK which is limited to Flash and Java can be requested. (snx) (Translation: dr)

Action roleplay game: Tales of Gorluth (preview video)
In cooperation with the graphic designer Javier Alcaniz, Patrick "viddi" Nevian (Agent Lux) is developing another game with the game vreator Backbone: "Tales of Gorluth" is an action roleplay game which is played from bird's-eye view (Youtube-Video).
At the moment there are 15 levels which are about one hour to play. The game is about 7 MB and therefore can be only played from harddrive. Additionally at least the ECS-chipset as well as 2 MB ChipRAM are required.
In order to play and enjoy Tales of Gorluth with the proper performance a 68030 is required - if you have a less powerful processor then you have to make smaller the field of view.

AROS: Gigalomania 0.25
Mark Harman has ported Gigalomania to AROS/x86. This game is an imitation of the Amiga classic Mega lo Mania. It is still in development and has over 28 different maps.
The AROS-version requires a high stack but the default value of the Shell with 1024000 should be sufficient.

FS-UAE: Game database for FS-UAE-Launcher, Game-launcher in progress
Frode Solheim is developing a game database which will complete his Amiga emulator FS-UAE. The database can be accessed under fengestad.no/games/ and users can add additional information, screenshots snd box-scans. The download section of Solheim's is already offering "development" versions of FS-UAE which can retrieve information from the database.
The games which are installed on your harddrive are recognized by its checksum and the corresponding information and pictures will be downloaded from the game database and the correct configuration options (chipset, CPU, memory...) will be chosen for the game. Additionally a new "Game Center" is in progress with which you will be able to browse existing games with a "cover-browsers" via joystick or joypad:
If you want to help adding new information to the game database or testing the functions, you can write a mail to fs-uae@fengestad.no to get an user-account. You can find further information in brief instruction written by Solheim.

MorphOS: Further status update on G5 porting
Almost one and a half monthes after his latest status update, Mark 'Bigfoot' Olsen reports again about his G5 porting of MorphOS at the title link. Besides smaller tasks, now only sound support remains to be implemented. While the bounty deadline is officially set to be March 3, actual release depends on the time required for other team members' components for MorphOS 3.2 to be finished and the subsequent beta-testing, he says. Individual Computers: Pictures and information on ACA 500 prototype (Update)
Last year Individual Computers announced their ACA 500, a simple expansion for the Amiga 500 whose claim to fame is the ability to connect accelerator boards from Indivudiual Computers that were originally developed for the Amiga 1200 (ACA 1231/1232).
Jens Schönfeld from Individual Computers has now published some pictures of the current prototype and a short status report on a1k.org and posted the product specifications:
- 68EC000 with 14,3MHz
- external connection, A500 does not have to be opened
- Computer gets only 3cm wider
- two CF card slots: One for booting, the other for "exchanging data" with the PC
- 2 MByte RAM: 1,5M can be used, 512k reserved for Maprom
- Trapdoor memory extensions can be used
- Chipmem extensions can be used
- ROM for things which I will make public later
- Extension port for local hardware, will be documented (14MHz 16-Bit = twice Zorro-speed)
- Clockport
- Cover made of stainless steel (no completely closed cover)
- can be extended by ACA1231/ACA1232
Originally the ACA 500 was supposed to become an internal extension but according to Schönfeld he had to drop this approach. The Version seen on the pictures will be the form factor used in the final product, only a cover made of stainless steel will be added.
The manufacturer will only support the combination of ACA 500 and an in-house A1200 extension (ACA 12xx series, with the exception of the ACA 1230). Accelerator boards developed by different producers would be used at one's own risk. First tests indicate that the Blizzard boards produced by Phase 5 are not yet compatible with the ACA 500 but this problem may still be solved according to Schönfeld.
The current target price is about 80 Euro.

Now Jens Schönfeld presents a new approach, where the ACA 500 would be positioned flat instead of upright. Additionally, a solution for the Blizzard compatibility problem might have been found, even if it's still not clear if all issues have been solved already and how the solution will be integrated into the final product. A600 accelerator board Fúria EC020: Pictures and Benchmarks (Update)
Two years ago, Boris 'Boboo' Krizma from Slovakia presented an Amiga 600 accelerator board that was based on the SEC000AA20 - a low cost variant of Motorola's MC68000. The sources and schematics for the design had been released back then aswell.
Now Krizma is working on a follow-up project called "Fúria ECF020" that has a 68EC020 CPU (over)clocked at 28 Mhz aswell as onboard FastRAM. The developer is regularly posting status updates to a czech forum. In January, fotos of the current prototype had been posted:
Now Krizma has published some screenshots that show various Benchmark tools running on a A600 equipped with a Fúria ECF020 (currently there are 4 MB FastRAM installed, but the final product will have more memory):

explains that this product will be commercially distributed and lists some more detailed specifications:
- MC68EC020FG25 @ 28MHz (overclocked), FPU MC68882 with same clock speed as CPU (may be switched ON/OFF)
- 8 MB Auto-Config FastRAM, 1,5 MB SlowRAM, 1,5 MB for other purposes
- Auto switch between 4MB / 8MB FastRAM (depending on the PCMCIA slot being in use or not)

Sale of Indivision AGA Mk 2 temporarily stopped
At the end of April Jens Schönfeld (Individual Computers) has started to deliver the second generation of the Flickerfixer "Indivision AGA" . But many users reported problems with the hardware - e.g. stripes or a completely black screen.
These compatibility problems could have been solved by a setup tool which was included in the previous version of the Indivison AGA Mk2. Such a tool currently does not exist for the Mk2 yet although highly requsted by many users. On the a1k-forum Jens Schönfeld explained that several, complex parameters had to be added to an user-interface.
Apparently Schönfeld temporarily stopped the sale of the Indivison Aga Mk2 four weeks ago.

Hugues 'HunoPPC' Nouvel now has ported the game to AmigaOS 4. The author has invited everybody to carefully read the documentation: Probbaly it is still an alpha version which can have bugs. Frogatto requires the libboostyGfx.so library which was also developed by Nouvel. Due to a bug in Wazp3D, currently Warp3D is absolutely required.
According to Nouvel, Frogatto is right now his last OS4-port. The port has taken two months and in future he will neither have enough time nor motivation (he mentioned the very low feedback which he has got for all his previous projects) for similar projects.

Windows: Source code of Amiga Bootblock Reader released
Under the title link Jason Smith has released the source code of version 2.0 of the Windows-programm Amiga Bootblock Reader which he has written with Visual Basic 2010 for he will not have the time to develop it further. With the programm it is possible to extract the bootblocks of disk images.

Workbench replacement: X-bEnCH 0.84
X-bEnCH is a graphical user-interface with up to 128 colours for starting WHDLoad games (.slave, .exe). According to the developer the programm works on all Amigas (OCS to AGA) with 68000 up to 68060 prozessor and uses low virtual memory.
Changes in version 0.84:

- Removed an useless file check (c:delete is no more used in xb)
- Added an init sequence progress bar
- The release number is no more displayed in the init sequence
- If the init has failed, it's now reported in the xb init screen

Hollywood: APNG-Plugin
Press release: Airsoft Softwair has just released a new plugin for Hollywood 5: Infinity. This plugin enables all Hollywood scripts to load and SAVE animations in the APNG format (animated portable network graphics). The great advantage of the APNG format is that it allows you to import and create animations that use alpha channel transparency. Neither the IFF ANIM nor the GIF ANIM formats support alpha channel transparency. Furthermore, APNG can also handle true colour frame data. A rival format to APNG is the MNG format but APNG support was chosen because more applications support it.
You can download the plugin from the official Hollywood portal. Thanks to Hollywood 5's cross-platform plugin system versions for AmigaOS3 (Classic), AmigaOS3 (FPU), AmigaOS4, MorphOS, WarpOS, AROS (Intel), Linux (PowerPC), Linux (Intel), Mac OS (PowerPC), Mac OS (Intel), Windows and Google Android are provided.

Python-Script: S3Cmd 1.1
S3Cmd is a script for AmigaOS 4 for Python 2.5 which makes it possible to access the Amazon-online-storage S3 via the Shell.
Since for MorphOS and AROS there are also current Python versions available it should also work with them. Please remove the included, precompiled .pyc-files before. Because for AmigaOS 3.x only an alpha version 2.4.6 is available this could cause some problems.

Amiga Inc.: more Amiga games for Blackberry planned
In September Amiga Inc. had started to offer Amiga classic for the Blackberry. On amiga.com now further games for the mobile operating system have been anounced, among others games by Bitmap Brothers, Psygnosis and Gremlin Graphics.
The "list is not 100% official as these titles still need testing and more work." In the official Blackberry-shop up to now only the old games are offered.

MorphOS: Web-Browser Odyssey 1.19
Fabien 'FAB' Coeurjuly has released a new version of his web browser Odyssey. In version 1.19 the Cookie-Handling was completely reworked. Therefore old cookies are not valid any longer. The latest version of Andy Broad's graphic programm SketchBlock has introduced among others layer and paint tool blend modes like "multiply" or "divide" as well as the use of ARexx-ports via scripts.

DVD-Covers for Amiga and CD32 games
Originally old games were often delivered in cardboard boxes. And if they are damaged or maybe lost, they can be replaced by DVD-sleeves or Universal Video Game Cases.
The cover inlays often are created by fans and users. One of those websites which offer such "replacement-covers" is thecoverproject.net - there are DVD-covers for 56 CD32-games as well as for 4 Amiga-games.

Paint programm: HollyPaint 1.0 (all Amiga-systems)
HollyPaint is a simple paint programm written with Hollywood. It has a MUI-based user-interface (screenshots: 1, 2).
There are versions for AmigaOS 3/4, MorphOS and AROS but the author could only test the AROS-version.
HollyPaint is Open-Source software. The sources are available under a BSD-licence on sourceforge.net.

AmigaOS 4: GUI-Server ProAction 1.5
ProAction is a GUI-server which can handle ARexx-commands of scripts to create graphical user-interfaces and to report back results to the script. Additional to ARexx itself (with the rexxsupport.library) also Python (with the module arexx.so) can be used.

Installation guide: Debian Sarge (PPC) on an Amiga 4000 PPC
Harald "Rotzlöffel" Meinzer has written a step by step tutorial for the installation of Debian PPC. In the first part he explains how to prepare the harddrive, to install the older Debian-version "Woody" as well as afterwards to upgrade to Debian Sarge.
The tutorial is meant to be read by users of an Amiga 4000 with PPC-board. Users of an A1200 do require different kernel-files and have to changes some parts. All users who are interested in a tutorial for an Amiga please contact Meinzer.

AmigaOS 4: Simple video editing with VideoClipper 1.1
VideoClipper written by Kevin 'ktadd' Taddeucci is a graphical user-interface for mencoder which provides video and picture editing functions (screenshots: 1, 2, 3).
In version 1.1 the gtaphical iuser-interface was completed by several features. Detailed changes:
- Added buttons to read start time and end times directly from MPlayer.
- Added abilty to add an audio file after videos are joined.
- Added ability to add a subtitle file after videos are joined.
- Added ability to view information about the selected file in the "Video Files List".
- Added display of cut file names to Video Files List.
- Added horizontal lines to video and effects lists to improve readability.
- Added LIST_ROWS tooltype to set number of rows for title/video lists.
(Valid range limited by program. 11 minimum, 25 maximum).
- Added 'Audio Files' and 'Title Files' directories. Includes example files.
- Changed help to run asycroniously. Thanks to AmigaGuide class provided by Trixie!
- Amiga keyboard, "Help" key (scroll lock) opens VideoClipper guide help.
- Changed to quit and re-start MPlayer if already running when 'Preview' or 'Play' clicked.
- Tweaked video resolution and bitrate setting to support popular settings. (May cause saved projects to recall video settings improperly. Check setting and re-save.)
- Added profiles to create YouTube compliant videos. (360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p)
- Added 16:9 aspect ration DRAFT profile.
- Added snapshot video options when mplayer is started. Ensures frame save works.
- Changed so display does not beep when TAB or Enter are used in time entry fields.

- Added workaround for 'Save Frame' when paused bug in MUIMPLayer.
- Fixed bug that prevented End Time key ']' from working all the time.

AROS: Icaros Desktop 1.5.1
Paolo Besser has released version 1.5.1 of his AROS-distribution Icaros Desktop. Now a new kernel is used which will provide more stability and fix the boot problems of some of the motherboards. The keyboard shortcut Control-Alt-Delete activates a cold start, and Control-lAros-rAROS a warm start.
Additionally the update includes the game Ri-Li, the backup tool BackupCopy and updates of several components of the Distribution.
Hint:
Originally Icaros 1.5.1 was delivered with a buggy version of the FAT-handler which could destroy the filesystems on FAT12-/FAT16 media. If you have already installed the update then check if the new version was installed: You can recognize it by looking at the name of the download archive. The name of the new version was completed by an"-1": "IcarosLive_1_5_1-1.7z.exe" instead of " IcarosLive_1_5_1.7z.exe".

NetBSD: Support of Mediator 4000 PCI
The Amiga-port of the NetBSD now also supports Elbox' PCI-busboard (Mediator 4000 PCI) which was developed for the Amiga 4000. The new driver em4k was tested with SATALink 3114 and NE2000-compatible network boards. The support of graphic boards is currently in development.
