ebay-auction: Unknown early Amiga system
At ebay.com currently an up to now unknown "Commodore Amiga Development System" is being offered. Probably it is a prototype which was sent to the developers before the offcial introduction to the market. On the ROMs the (so far unknown) version number 24.60 can be read.

Without reference to this ebay-article, David Erhart has published some pictures which show a similar system. According to Erhart this computer was used for developing Amiga software together with a Sage IV-computer. (cg) (Translation: dr)

MorphOS: MPlayer 1.0 (2010.04.14)
Fabien 'Fab' Coeurjoly has published an update of his MorphOS-port of the program MPlayer. Changes in this version:
  • Updated to 14.04.2010 svn (r31036): as usual, many new codecs, fixes and so on...
  • GUI module:
    • Don't spam status line with too frequent status updates
    • Don't change window focus in separated mode when playing a new title
    • Mouse pointer wasn't hidden when entering fullscreen mode if mouse wasn't moved first
  • General:
    • Enabled librtmp support (still experimental in MPlayer)
    • Automatically crop if source width exceeds the overlay maximal width instead of quitting (generally happens for 1080p streams on radeon 92x0 models, where overlay width is limited to 1536 pixels)
    • Allow to interrupt network streams faster (it previously waited for buffer fill/connection timeout, which could take quite some time)
    • Fixed some modulo issue with some VP6 files and also in cgx_wpa driver, which would give a trashed display
    • Fixed some greenish effect on some WMV files

A-EON: AmigaOne X1000 FAQ, part 3
In the second part of the FAQ on the AmigaOne X1000 some questions about the configuration were answered: The graphic board will be an ATI-product with R700-chipset and the "Common Firmware Environment" will be used as BIOS. There will be only complete systems with only one configuration.

Currently AmigaOS 4 cannot support the second processor core but this will follow with a forthcoming update of the operating system. (cg) (Translation: dr)
