Amiga-Emulator: FS-UAE 2.3.99beta1
Frode Solheim's FS-UAE for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and BSD is based on WinUAE and can be completely controlled with a joypad.
The latest beta version of FS-UAE 2.4 is stable and has new functions as well as bug fixes, but does not provide all translations. The changes are lsited in the release notes.

WHDLoad: New packages until 18.01.2014
Using WHDLoad, you can install games, scene demos and intros from cracking groups on your harddisk that were not compatible with anything but floppy disks. The following installers have been added until January 18th, 2014:
- 2014-01-15 updated: Big Run (Sales Curve) reworked, timing problems fixed, trainers added, high score load/save (Info)
- 2014-01-12 updated: Tetris Pro (Logic System Productions/2000 A.D.) more icons added (Info, Image)

MorphOS: Interview with Guido Mersmann
After Grzegorz Kraszewski, Jacek Piszczek and Ilkka Lehtoranta, 'saib0t' has interviewed another member of the MorphOS developer team, Guido 'geit' Mersmann, which is available under the title link.
He talked about the his first computer and programming exercises but also about a possible integration of his package manager Grunch in MorphOS, a release of the game BoulderDäsh NG as well as about the IRC-programm WookieChat V3.

AmigaOS 4: MUI-port has to be registered (Update)
According to some posts, since the last update the MUI4-version of AmigaOS 4 requires to register. The authors of the port could not contact the original developer, Stefan Stuntz. Therefore they first offered MUI4 with a keyfile.
Meanwhile Stefan Stuntz, who still is active member of the MorphOS-team answered and claimed the rights to MUI. If you already have a valid MUI-key you can use it with MUI4.

As mentioned by one of the authors of the AmigaOS 4 port in our german thread of comments, the previous version of MUI4 did not include a keyfile. (snx) (Translation: dr)

Linux: Kernel 3.13-rc8 for Sam4x0-boards and AmigaONE X1000
For all Sam-boards and for the AmigaONE X1000, rc8 of the Linux Kernel 3.13 is available to test it. 'Spectre660' has created the version for computers of ACube System, Christian Zigotzky from "A-EON Core Linux Support Team" and the former P.A.-Semi staff member Olof Johansson have made available the Kernel of the AmigaOne X1000.
Please note that the Radeon Dynamic Power Management does not work on these computers. Thererfore you have to add the boot parameter radeon.dpm=0.
Example for the Sam4x0-boards:

Further APC&TCP-games as digital distributions
APC&TCP offers the games Crossfire, Pinball BD, Flyin High, SeaSide and Pictris as digital distributions (they are called "download-versions") which are cheaper and not develivered on disks or CD. Almost all software of APC&TCP is available in this format.
