`17.Mär.2003` Amiga.SF (Website)	Diego Casorran Ports: HyperMail V2.1.7 und Flac V1.1.0 Diego 'DCR8520' Casorran hat auf seiner Website bei SourceForge einige Ports zum Download bereitgestellt. Am 15. März 2003 wurden folgende Programme aktualisiert oder hinzugefügt: HyperMail to version 2.1.7, it is a program that takes a file of mail messages in UNIX mailbox format and generates a set of cross-referenced HTML documents. Each file that is created represents a separate message in the mail archive and contains links to other articles, so that the entire archive can be browsed in a number of ways by following links. (I remember you that YAM export his emails in UNIX format ;) Flac to version 1.1.0, it stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec. Grossly oversimplified, FLAC is similar to MP3, but lossless. The FLAC project consists of: the stream format, reference encoders and decoders in library form, flac: a command-line program to encode and decode FLAC files, metaflac: a command-line metadata editor for FLAC files. "Free" means that the specification of the stream format is fully open to the public to be used for any purpose (the FLAC project reserves the right to set the FLAC specification and certify compliance), and that neither the FLAC format nor any of the implemented encoding/decoding methods are covered by any known patent. `17.Mär.2003` Jabberwocky (Website)	Instant Messenger: Jabberwocky V1.4 - 2. Preview Tom Parker und Matthias Münch haben Preview 2 des Instant Messengers 'JabberWocky' Version 1.4 für Amiga-Rechner veröffentlicht. Jabber ist ein offenes XML-Protokoll für den direkten Austausch von Nachrichten. Ein Verbindungsaufbau mit anderen Instant Messengern wie AIM, ICQ, MSN und Yahoo ist über Gateways möglich. Beta-Version-Download: Jabberwocky030316.lha In dieser Version gemachte Änderungen: Fixed transperancy of icons in roster window (thanks to Jeff Gilpin) Fixed long standing enforcer hit when removing contacts (also thanks to Jeff Gilpin as a side effect of the transperancy fix) Fixed reply quoting (introduced in 1.4pre1) Fixed unicode conversion of reply quoting (introduced in 1.4pre1) Some support for displaying errors in the roster (but I haven't actually had any errors that trigger it, so it either doesn't work, or I haven't had any errors. Fixed enforcer hit on startup when autoconnect is on and there is no account information (introduced in 1.3) Roster icon remains on the event icon until all unread messages have been read Fixed handling of messages from contacts that are not in the roster (introduced in 1.4pre1) As you can see 1.4pre1 had quite a lot of problems, remember you shouldn't be using any prerelease unless you want problems. `16.Mär.2003` ANN	TV-Kartentreiber: SuperTV Betaversion 0.8 für Mediator Heute hat Peter Gordon die Betaversion 0.8 von SuperTV (einer Alternative zur Mediator TV-Software von Elbox) veröffentlicht. Diese Version behebt einige Fehler und bietet neue Features. Download: stv_beta_0-8.lha Änderungen seit der letzten Version: "Hide pointer" now has 3 modes: Never, Fullscreen only, and Always. F2 now cycles between never and always. Added option to cycle through channels (ie hitting + at the last channel will cycle to channel 1). Two new arexx commands: TV_INCCHANNEL, TV_DECCHANNEL. These increment and decrement the channel, taking into account the cycle channels settings Added possibility to put in custom source number. This allows colour SVHS on some cards. `16.Mär.2003` sylvio.k@gmx.de (ANF)	Neue Soms3D-Shots, Englische Übersetzung und Gesuche Auf der 'Anime Development for Amiga' Page ist ein neues Update erschienen. Es wurden zwei neue Screenshots von Soms3D hinzugefügt, außerdem ist jetzt eine englische Übersetzung vorhanden. Diese Übersetzung ist "Beta", deswegen sucht das ADA-Team jemanden, der sich an die Texte setzen kann, und alle Fehler korrigiert. Des Weiteren sucht das ADA-Team Leute, die sich mit Milkshape3D oder einem mesh-Animator auskennen, der das MD2-Format (wie es z. B. in Quake2 benutzt wird) unterstützt. `15.Mär.2003` Steffen Schiller (ANF)	Fahrschule_99 Vollversion jetzt downloaden Fahrschule_99 überarbeitete Version 2003 Mit dem Update der Internetseiten vom Amiga-Treffpunkt-Oberlausitz ist nun die Vollversion vom Programm Fahrschule_99 hinzugekommen. In fast 400 Prüfungsfragen mit etwa 70 Bildern kann der Fahranfänger wie auch der Profi sein Wissen unter Beweis stellen. Das ab einem Amiga 500 lauffähige Programm braucht einen PAL-Bildschirm. Sie finden Fahrschule_99 im Downloadbereich, wo es auch noch 2 Bilder zum Einbinden in Birdie gibt, womit die Fenster der Workbench den richtigen Pfiff bekommen. (ps) [Meldung: 15. Download: AmithlonTVBeta.lha Änderungen in dieser Version: BUGFIX: Fixed TVCardSetup and TVCard.library code part that may caused the random freezing on MorphOS. CHANGED: Many small optimisations. ADDED: Added two debug options. If AmithlonTV is still freezing, try "SETENV TVCard_NoInterrupt 1". If this isn't helping try "SETENV TVCard_NoDMA 1". Delete the variable to regain normal operation.
