Ironfist (ANF) Linux: Update of the Pegasos Rescue CD Mupper to version 0.3
Mikael 'Lisardman' Karlsson is working on a Rescue CD project for the Pegasos. Today he released version 0.3 at the title link. The Gentoo-based Live-CD contains various tools for recovery and testing.

The update provides more docs, support for Voodoo 3/4/5 and loadable modules (e.g. for filesystems). The features of Mupper:

Communication
lftp: FTP client
minicom: serial console (TTY) client
irssi: IRC client - if you need support

Hardware Diagnostics
fsck: Scan for corrupted blocks and files
memtester: A tool to test if your memory sticks are faulty

Partitioning
Parted: Partition editor
RAID-Tools: Create RAID arrays before OS install

Security
chkrootkit: Root exploit scanner
clamav: Open Source Anti virus for Linux and Windows viruses
nmap: Check for open server ports - test your firewall
rkhunter: Root exploit scanner
