At the "Fall Processor Forum" in San Jose the new "POWER"-CPU Family was presented. They are design for a high output with a minor electricalpower consumtion.

This CPUs are SoC-Parts (System on Chip), this means all Peripherie devices, like Memory Controller, PCIe, Ethernet and I/O, are integrated. (cg) (Translation: aj)
