Janus - Javascript-based Amiga emulator
Rupert Hausberger's Janus is an Amiga emulator written in Javascript which should work in each modern web-browser. The source code has about 13000 lines of code. Half of it was taken from UAE. A fast computer, ADF or Kickstart files, a browser wit HTML 5 support, WebGL, WebAudio, DOMParser, FileReader and Typed arrays are required.

The Readme currently warns of diverse existing compatibility problems but some games already work - e.g. Alien Breed, Another World or Turrican 1/2.

According to the author he will not have time during the next months to develop the project further. Therefore he decided to publish this early version in order to looking for and win other supporters. (cg) (Translation: dr)
