Amiga 30 Years: announcements from A-EON, Individual Computers and Hyperion
Due to the unreliable live video feed, it is complicated to find proper sources for various announcements made at "Amiga: 30 Years" that took place today in Amsterdam. According to short reports from various visitors, the following statements have been made at the show (note that none of them has been confirmed by an official source yet):

There will be no X3500, only the X5000 will go on sale

Trevor Dickinson is said to have revealed that the cheapest version of the next AmigaOne generation will not hit the market: The price of the P3041 quadcore based X3500 would have been too close to the other, P5020/P5040 based dualcore and quadcore models.

Amiga 500 accelerator at 130 Euro, new A1200 expansions

Jens Schönfeld allegedly announced a new Amiga 500 accelerator with integrated RAM, which will cost around 130 Euros. A new A1200 expansion is said to be available in two versions: One with a 680EC20 CPU (24 bit address bus) clocked at 28 Mhz, and one with a regular 68020 CPU at 16 Mhz. At least one of the A1200 expansions will also feature a connector for an USB controller.

Amiga Reloaded

In line with his C64 Reloaded - an unpopulated, newly manufactured C64 motherboard - Jens Schönfeld is allegedly working on a "Amiga Reloaded". Several people report he kept pointing out he has a a large stock of AGA chips, so there is speculation that these new motherboards would actually be (partly) populated.

Gorky 17

Hyperion was showing Gorky 17 at their booth. A visitor reports that only hardware acceleration needs to be added before the title can get released. (cg)
